I was just thrown off is all and seemed like i was just completely dismissed in a rude way, sorry for any misunderstanding
Don't be my friend.
But seriously, read my comment again.
The only one who attack now is you, by calling me hostile.
But thies are only ideas, again i still admire your work and honestly a little baffled you came at me aggressively in the comments,I have your old designs and current and me and my friends still admire them to this day. I wish you the best and look forward to your future works
People wanted it to be bigger, better, so I made it like that.
I still also get requests about 1:1 scale. This is only 1:3...
Also, who expected it to be Server friendly? I don't remember to said anything about servers my friend. Nobody expect a 95k Blocks 535m ship to be, especially that many of these have restrictions about PCU and block count.. But if you are looking for a smaller and less block ship, consider taking a look in my screen section at Victory SD that will came around early August.
I might also release in future a 1:4 scale Imperial SD with 300m size as part of "mini capital ships".
Old imperial will not return as I don't have it anymore as I don't keep old versions and it was with us for straight 4 years. It was time for change and upgrade up.
I LOVE the detail but its sub gridded...making it so laggy and really hard on sim speed, making it not practical for much uses, i suggest dont sub grid it and avoid too many gyroscopes and it will be perfect. all in all this grid is amazing and i respect and know the effort gone into this, but i think if you wan this to be public and published then you should take thies suggestions into consideration, i was able to spawn 5 of your old isds into my server with 1.02 sim speed, but a single one of thies brings it down to .40
From testing on my PC new one was much more stable than old one due to multigrid instead one large grid object. Because I have not powerfull PC (RTX 4070, i5 11400f) I was sure it is time for much more detailed Star Destroyer (Especially that old one was here with us for almost 5 years straight. Another problem was fact new one was upscaled from 1:3,3 to 1:3.
But there is chance for me to post much smaller, and still super detailed Imperial. I'm currently work at Victory SD with size of 300m ( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3296400185 ) and I think about publishing "Mini" scale Imperial SD with reassonable block amount and server friendly PCU.
2 minutes later
"...my pc is struggling and i cant move what did i just try to paste in"
10 minutes later
". . .why is it all subgrids"
all things aside i love the new look....but jesus christ my pc is shitting itself right now. i dunno if its possible at all but could you post the older model which isnt all subgrid. since that one is still big but lower spec PCs are able to run it. (maybe update the interior?)
