This one need an update good sir, game crash when placing down on a grid, tried on small grid, also you cockpics mods have the same CTD when placing down the Boosters. I love your moods but they are somewhat handicapped now.

Don't recommend anyone use this mod anymore, throws a critical error on world load. Check out ozraven's link in the message below for a fixed version.

Hi, thanks for your mods. (which is working fine for me, btw.)

The connectors have a mount point where they can be attached face-to-face. This causes sub-grids (when merged) to attach to the ship, regardless of whether the connector is locked or even powered. I use merge blocks as well as connectors to get away from the sub-grid drift that keen hasn't

Do any of your mods work? I tried your elevator mod, even with the industrial patch and it doesnt work, now all this does is crash my game. :steamthumbsdown:

@Viciziat this is such a useful mod. Being able to walk from craft to base with helmet open gives so much to the game. Any chance of an update?

Have you considered making a Hinge version of this? That way you can make a spacedock airlock that swings to/away from ships when entering/exiting the dock. It would be a walk-thru hinge and maybe some walk-thru conveyors and on the end the VCZ Connector

the maintence connector [large], cargo connects on the sides, open end is where we walk through, round opening is the door mount.
all the others are passage connectors

I think I erred here. I've been able to use normal connectors and merge blocks together to properly align joined ships every time and minimize clang when ships are attached side to side in planetary gravity. Do these connectors work the same way or do they merge permanently like tubes? How do I know which end of the longer large grid connectors works as a connector or do both work the same?

i also get glitches when using rotors to merge small/large block grids sometimes it applies a constant impulse to one direction causing me to have to constantly trim my engines to keep steady and just simply placing a block and removing said block removes the effect

I'm not 100% sure, but close enough. I think you can't use those to connect 2 small ships together. I've built a rocket with two modules on top and as soon as it reach a little altitude, it starts to spin strangely.

@Narcotic im not too experienced yet but i think just as when you connect a small ship to a base it partialy links you in several ways as if your controling the whole base as a ship hence pressing y to turn off your ship actualy turns off the bases power generators etc so perhaps your basicaly controling the large ship unintentionaly after connecting, so try just not touching any movement controls after connecting and see if that helps

Question, is it possible to remove the actual power requirement of the connector? So it will be able to lock or unlock regardless if the structure is powered or not?

Hi there, I know this is a situation of working between two mods, but I'm wondering if you (Vicizlat) or anyone using the VCZ Connectors mod might have used the Maintenance Duct mods together: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1605982958

I'm trying to use an Airtight Connector attached to a Maintenance Duct and finding that I can't transfer any resources through them. This is on a large-grid ship connected to a large grid station.

The two grids connect fine and show green, but the resource transfer isn't happening. Thoughts?

Note: Despite a comment on the MD page about not it working, the ducts are in fact working in v.196.16 of the game (Sept 2020)

Second on the Airtight Piston,, with different lengths, like up tot he long 35 M one, If your so inclined and even if not, thanks the connector solves one issue I have, and I think I am close to making it work on top of a piston.

Love this Door ! Only wish that the Cargo Access had a second version that was two deep so it would work surrounded by hanger doors (or two Cargo Accessways could connect end-to-end).
