Sure. The wiki is wrong, the nettool info is wrong just like all those topics about scales and you are right. I'm out, do what you want to do :)

Take a look into the wiki - it's the official documentation. It clearly says: "Assets size need to fit to a grid where 1 cell is 8x8 meters." - so one cell is 8m ;)

Er- well, I like this path as it's really detailed, but it's not 8m wide - it's 16m wide. one cell of the grid is 8x8m ;)
