Engineers aparently end up using the Eureca Effect to find metal.
Defenders also have trouble finding the first checkpoint. When they leave spawn, their first instinct is to fal in the direction that the door is facing, towards the door between B and C. Having the spawn exit face towards the first point might help.
Defenders also have some problems finding their way to the first point even if they find the enterance to the building. They get stuck as they think that the closed door infront of point A is the main exit.
Players have also said that they map had too many flank routes "leading to nowhere." No idea how to deal with that one.
But can you develop "add more props", I don't understand why so many people say that.
I thought it was a joke. The maps is full of props.
Is the map not just too big ? (I hope the V2 will not be too small ^^)
The one that comes to mind is the one that's curvey and goes up/down. I think if that platform where 1/3 the size it is now, thus cutting down on the steep curved slopes, it'd still be interesting.
I think some of the signposting that tells you where to go out of spawn could be a little better, I followed arrows into a large dead end area before realizing I had to climb to an upper area (I'll make a screenshot of what I'm talking about later).
Please, go badly ! Critisism is good (if you have the time).
I rebuild completely the map, it will be half size, with hotspots on all final points.
Your advice would be welcome.
Unfortunatly, I'm in Europe, I would liked to join your community (...and my english is damn bad, as you can see :p).
My community like, JUST started growing a bit better. I might get back to you when we end up with more consistent traffic though.
Few years ago, there was a lot of community servers with customs map (pl_cashworks...), and it worked well.
Now, the situation has changed. It's sad.
Though the server I wanna run it on doesn't get a lotta players <.<
I liked to do an other version, smaller, but if the map is not played anymore, it's lot of work for nothing.
And bots are cool, but it's not a good way to really test a map like that.
But good news, I tried bots and it works very well.
But the map is big, yes. I'm waiting for playtesting.
