Hahaha, thanks Temeez.

So, uh, is this B18 or 19 compatible?

I forgot how this rimworld workshop stuff works so I might have accidentally updated this one to B19 but even after reverting it still has the "0.19" tag so I don't know. Sorry if I broke saves. ._.

@maxxmillian Thanks for notifying me. I'll try to get that done the coming Saturday or Sunday.

B19 was pushed out to everyone today as the current version, love your mod, will you be updating it?

Mmm... I loves me the strip lights... I have red lights in all my passageways highlighting the center aisle, and a bumch of blue ones through the common areas showing pathways. This is one satisfying mod!

I was going to mention Wall Light (BRIGHT) - B18 mod,
which introduces lights appearing on walls by building it infront of it.
Placing a Flower pot on top of it doesn't break the light.
But you already fixed it, so.. great job! :HappyMask::okey:

@Pachii thank you! I'm fairly confident that I managed to stop pawns breaking stuff.

IF they still are breaking stuff: make sure that there is an exclamation mark on the last line of the mod description, if there isn't one then the mod hasn't updated for you.

In retrospect, Wall Lights can actually be placed 'underneath' something just fine. Check that, maybe?
Temeez  [author] 6 Dec, 2017 @ 12:11am
Yeah that's what I thought. It could be by design or it could be a bug in the engine, guess we'll see.

I felt like I should also add:

This started happening with pretty much every single building that can go "over" other buildings on Rimworld since B18, so it is definitely not isolated to this mod.

I've been noticing the same bahaviour on ceiling lamps and some other furniture from other mods.

So... Probably something from B18.

I can confirm that on A17 it was possible to build them underneath anything.

Currently they'll destroy workbenches, walls, furniture... Pretty much anything (other than conduits I think)
Stychis 4 Dec, 2017 @ 11:41pm
In A17 you could build any of the lights underneath just about anything. I use to fit them at borders on my batteries and beds for cool underglow.

Now however - whether table, station, statue or otherwise - its removed to replace with the floor light. I'm afraid I don't know any onhand that use similar coding.
Temeez  [author] 4 Dec, 2017 @ 10:52pm
I would guess that this is because the floor lights are *buildings*, like beds, standing lamp, etc. I build a 3x3 table and then put a floor light build request at the center of it and the table was torn down so the light could be build, is this not the expected behaviour?

Is anyone aware of any modded lights that work like *floor tiles* instead of *buildings*?

@Anubis: What do you have under the light that gets destroyed? At least vanilla floor tiles seemed okay when I tried.
Stychis 2 Dec, 2017 @ 2:06pm
Yeah, floor lights is destroying whatever is on top of them. Can this get a fix?
Anubis 2 Dec, 2017 @ 1:23pm
Currently the colonists are destroying whatever is under the light, it is extremely annoying and can lead to some very bad resource losses.

I thought it was a conflict with wall replacement at first but it's still happening after disabling said mod so i'm not sure of what is the cause.
Scythe 26 Nov, 2017 @ 5:14pm
Lights work for me but the colonists destory whatever is on top before building them. Not sure if its another mod conflict.
Temeez  [author] 20 Nov, 2017 @ 8:50am
@Rascaldees the only instance when it looks like they don't give any light is when they're in a shadow (from a wall for example). This looks like a game bug as it seems to happen even with the vanilla standing lamp too.
Rascaldees 19 Nov, 2017 @ 12:37pm
@Temeez This is the only mod I had enabled at the time. It's a practice for me to disable all other mods and test them in a new game once I get a new one.

I had Hugs Lib active so I guess I can't say it was the ONLY mod. The lights appear and they 'work' as in they power up but for some reason they're not actually providing any light.
Flesh Forge 19 Nov, 2017 @ 8:32am
This works for me, I don't know what might be the problem except that these need power conduits to work (of course).

Also worth noting that one of your lights works just the same as many "wall light" mods so there's one less mod I need to load :)
Temeez  [author] 19 Nov, 2017 @ 6:19am
@Rascaldees have you tried with other mods disabled? I would guess that some other mod breaks this one.
Rascaldees 18 Nov, 2017 @ 10:42pm
Does not work. Lights are not producing light.
Flesh Forge 18 Nov, 2017 @ 5:20am
Thanks for this, the vanilla light looks so cheesy.
