IT'S AN ELECTRIC TRAIN! It shouldn't make much noise in the first place.
Up until a few years ago my grandmother lived in devon, PA. She lived very close to the train station. Twice a week we would go down to the station to watch the trains go by. I loved it so much. We would stay for long periods of time, see the occaisional Amtrak fly by.
Anyway, this Septa train is similar but not the same that we used to see.

Any chance you could add chainlinks in front of the door at the front and back of the train? It's the only thing thats missing from the real model
