Work is currently underway to update this mod to the current version (2.3 something)
So many modifiers had their wording changed, and several modifiers were outright removed while I was making use of them (looking at you country_subject stuff)
I'm currently messing with buildings to work around how they changed functions.
I think with me know having more DLC I got the Kornag to work properly (with their subject race the Grots)

I just looked at some of the patch notes, and I'm willing to bet that most if not all of this mod won't work after 2.0 or even 2.1
I may be getting back into this and CK2, so if I have time and desire, I will look into getting this updated for 2.2+
At least I have some more free time lately.

Dracarys, I will be running this mod on the current version of Stellaris with all the DLC I have, and I will drop the error log[if any] in discussion. Cheers. o7

I can't fix anything if people don't give me any error logs to try figuring it out with. I've already stated that I don't know what's causing it, becauseIdon't have the DLC. If you don't give me some error logs, you obviously don't want it fixed.

I can confirm that mod is no longer working or has a unknown confliction. I too have Synthetic dawn and my game crashes but game works perfectly fine again after i disable your mod. i have alot of mods tho and cannot be bothered with messing around disabling them to find the route problem.

@XTRAmir I don't have the DLC, so I don't know how I could bug fix that. I never saw any game-breaking errors in the log, but maybe it displays differently based on DLC.
I don't really have time to fix my mods due to real life so, I'm sorry to say that I just recommend you turn my mod off if you play with that DLC.

After purchasing synthetic dawn today, your mod crashes the game at the loading screen when you start a new galaxy. After deactivating your mod, eveything works fine.

@christophe.poth yes, the 6 empires I've designed were set to always spawn in each game with the mod running. If you want to change that, go to the mod, open the 'prescripted_countries' folder, then the file inside it. For each empire, there is a line that says 'spawn_enabled = always'if you want them to be random, change it to '= yes', if you don't want them appearing at all, change it to '= no' (or disable the mod >.>)

Just to ask , are your precripted empire intended to spawn in each new game ? if so, how can i make it so they only spawn randomly ?

Updated (tentatively) for 2.0. Will continue to check through the code and how it plays to see what needs to be changed or switched around, but for now this is mostly error-free.

Ah, I understand now. That mod also includes Cultural Overhaul, which, as I've noted, seems to be broken, or outdated. Otherwise, I think that mod and my mod cover the same other traditions mods.
If you want to run other mods along with Cultural Overhaul, I'd say use !!!Tons of Traditions.
If you want to run Lords of the Stars and other tradition mods, use mine.

@Liquidfire This is the original mod, you can run it by itself with no issues (ideally) and it should be compatible with a lot of other mods. The (LotS of) Tradition Compatability is so you can run THIS mod AND other mods that add traditions.
Neither mod requires the other, technically, unless you want to run more than one of the tradition-adding mods.

@LordZ If you mean the tradition Waaah, I nabbed it from Bing after a search for Warhammer Orks or something. If you mean the Civic icon, I made it by copying one of the Machine civics, turning the skull red, then pasting it onto a green/normal civic hexagon.
The traits and civics icons I use are mostly custom-made, either with copy-paste, recolors, or a little bit of freehand drawing.

Additional traditions, plentiful traditions, expanded tradition choice and expanded Stellaris traditions are the four most common ones I think (I generally play with the latter).

@nukestar that sounds very doable, in fact, I even looked at the code in other tradition mods to work out how I could ad in my own. Which would you say are the more popular, or would I be better off just adding in a lot of spacing to account for them?

While I have never played this mod, I wouldn't be surprised if it was something to do with this mod having extra traditions. Tradition mods are by default incompatable with each other. If I were you, I'd make a version without the traditions (or if you can, make merge patches with some of the most popular tradition mods)

I've noticed that I've had a lot of subs that are no longer subbed. If there was something about the content of the mod that needed to be fixed or altered, I'd love to hear it. This is my first mod for this game, so I don't really know how it will play out for various people. Feedback is helpful even if it's a complaint about how something works or doesn't work.
