mata 5 Jun, 2022 @ 5:26pm
Doesn't work with space refugees on the ground, in vanilla *or* with this mod.
megabot 9 Sep, 2021 @ 7:39am
so for some reason i cannot tend to people in my colonies whenever anymore

i am serious, i just straight out cannot tend downed non rescued people so i will try this mod out anyways
Mickey Surviving RNG 28 Aug, 2021 @ 9:11pm
Congrats on vanilla status and thank you for the awesome mod :)
Zeb 24 Jul, 2021 @ 7:22pm
If i have a colony medic set to carry medicine at all times, will he use it on the battlefield?
Arcanant 23 Jul, 2021 @ 6:22pm
If it is incorporated I can't do it without this mod for some reason :S
Flesh Forge 23 Jul, 2021 @ 4:10am
I had not realized this was built into 1.3 now, thanks for explaining that and thanks for the old versions too!
AgentBlac  [author] 15 Jul, 2021 @ 10:13am
@RedPine that's exactly right. :)
RedPine 14 Jul, 2021 @ 3:03am
@Nyoj You know people will ask for a mod update anyway, right?

JK, I assume it's to get rid of the "incompatible with 1.3" flag, and to prepare the way for adding new features to the mod.
Nyoj 5 Jul, 2021 @ 10:40am
No offense but.... why update to 1.3 if it isnt needed anymore?
Wec 26 Jun, 2021 @ 8:12pm
I've been looking for this since I started Rimworld and I finally found it. Combined with your prisoner mod this is amazing, thanks!
AgentBlac  [author] 30 May, 2021 @ 8:49pm
Announcement: Updated to include mod settings menu to enable/disable tending to neutral pawns (not colonists but not hostile). More to come in the future :) Let me know if you run into issues.
AgentBlac  [author] 30 May, 2021 @ 1:41pm
@John Hi, I recently tested this with the Quality Builder, and it seems to be working fine. I have this mod loaded BEFORE Quality Builder in the load order.
AgentBlac  [author] 30 May, 2021 @ 1:40pm
Hi there, you can still tend to downed colonists while drafted. This mod, when used with my other mod, will let you imprison pawns and then tend to them right away. You can always release the prisoner if you don't want to keep them.
Pineapple 17 May, 2021 @ 2:02pm
add back when you can tend pawns on the spot while drafted
WitchyCat 19 Mar, 2021 @ 9:43pm
I want a mod that'll let me tend future prisoners when I don't have a prison yet or the prison is far. If it's a colonist I can just place a bed spot??
Onixz 26 Feb, 2021 @ 8:19am
is there a way to make a colonist with high medical rescue or tend to their own when they are downed?
=) 6 Nov, 2020 @ 8:32pm
Let's see... Is there any way for a pawn to re-tend low quality tended injuries, or better yet, use medicine in their inventory, starting from the best one? Just a question.

Anyway, I like this mod. There's a situation where one of my fearless power armored (UAC kit mod) pawn somehow got their hand shot off by some centipedes (around 10 centipedes, raid by drop pod right outside my embrasures, so they get the most protection, while we were on sitting ducks), but when tasked with tending on themselves, they casually walks to a harvested herb medicine right in the middle of a battlefield, and just casually tending themselves right there, while somehow only get a couple of harmless hits.
While it's a miracle that they didn't die by centipedes' shot, I'd prefer that they tend to themselves at a place safe from harm.

Really useful to get important soldiers back up and running in a pinch. Heck, you can just patch them up and send them to medical on their own time to recover if you don't need the manpower, but have a lot of critical soldiers.

I haven't noticed the issue with Quality Builder, but if it does come up I'll probs write it off as needing more skill to do field work adequately.

Only thing is I wish I could tend neutrals. Enemies I get because restraining them in a prison is less dangerous, but neutrals would be nice.
Toph 16 Sep, 2020 @ 9:00am
To what john said: I turned off quality builder, loaded my save, then turned it back on and now I have "Must be level 8 medical to tend prisoner" with the refugee quest
Lightning Dust 6 Sep, 2020 @ 9:27am
Nor tend downed enemies too
Lightning Dust 5 Sep, 2020 @ 9:45am
I don't think this works on wild animals...
AgentBlac  [author] 13 Aug, 2020 @ 5:17pm
Announcement: Updated to 1.2
Dath 17 Jul, 2020 @ 6:41am
Tending neutrals/enemies would be amazing. Great mod regardless!
Thymeis 27 Apr, 2020 @ 4:55pm
would i be able to administer drugs without the patient having to go lay down first ,
cause if i want to put them to sleep in order to get them into a medical bed for surgery or whatever then i'll need to be able to administer anesthetic.
J.C Denton 22 Apr, 2020 @ 10:46pm
The ability to tend neutrals and enemies would be amazing and make this mod millions of times better.
theflyingdragon24 16 Apr, 2020 @ 10:34pm
PLEASE LET ME TEND TO ENEMIES AND NEUTRALS
123 11 Apr, 2020 @ 5:24am
Cannot tend to enemies or neutrals. Useless.
Vazzaroth 10 Mar, 2020 @ 12:54pm
Does anyone get the "Medical skill of 8 needed to tend prisoner" with this mod when people are downed and not in a bed? I'm trying to isolate what causes it... it's really annoying and screws up my early game pretty often.
AgentBlac  [author] 5 Mar, 2020 @ 3:42pm
@Tellik Currently, this mod does not interact with Field Medic at all, so no medicine is used no matter what. I've seen the request for compatibility w/ Field Medic, and haven't found the time to really look into it, but it is on my radar

@Oh God Spiders No Nah I have no idea :D I haven't changed anything in particular, to my knowledge, and it looks normal to me. Wish I could say I did anything like that intentionally :)
Oh God Spiders No 5 Mar, 2020 @ 3:11pm
Hey how did you change the color of this mod's background in the wide list view? When I search through my subscribed items (go to https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/app/294100/workshop/ , then click on "Browse" and then click on "Subscribed Items") most mods have the standard steam dark blue, but yours has a purple gradient to it.

Thanks!
Tellik 5 Mar, 2020 @ 5:38am
I was wondering if this did have/could have compatibility with Field Medic, since it sounds like even if they have medicine on them they won't use it?

Announcement: Officially added dependency for Harmony Library
Vortek Gamer 1 Mar, 2020 @ 11:09am
ya no problem and at the time i sent the comment I did not know Harmony updated again
AgentBlac  [author] 1 Mar, 2020 @ 10:16am
@VirtualGaming The most updated version I found was 2.0.0.8, which came out sometime yesterday, so I will be updating it to that. Thanks for the heads-up
Vortek Gamer 29 Feb, 2020 @ 8:55pm
This is for 1.1
you need to update Harmony as it is not a recomanded version right now. Should update it to 2.0.0.7 or use Harmony as dependit mod
AgentBlac  [author] 28 Feb, 2020 @ 4:41pm
Bug fixed!
AgentBlac  [author] 25 Feb, 2020 @ 5:56pm
Working on a bug with the 1.1 version. Works w/ 1.0 now. Standby :)
AgentBlac  [author] 25 Feb, 2020 @ 5:05pm
Announcement: My apologies, this mod is now multi-version compatible.
MrKampfCookie 25 Feb, 2020 @ 7:27am
This mod disables you from right clicking on objects (e.g. to force pawns to build a wall) when you're still playing on 1.0.
AgentBlac  [author] 24 Feb, 2020 @ 2:25pm
Announcement : Updated to 1.1!

I have limited time working on RimWorld mods these days, but if you post the bugs you're experiencing in the Bug Zapper, I will do my best to make time to ensure maximum compatibility and functionality! :)
teensarlacc 11 Feb, 2020 @ 5:27pm
I'm using a mod that lets pawns use medicine in their inventory, will they use that if they have it while tending?
baboon 2 Feb, 2020 @ 12:36am
"[SS] Mr.Crowley 22 May, 2019 @ 4:52pm
@GenBOOM without both of mods you can just put a bed mark right next to your pawn and rescue him to that bed mark and do all treatments needed, this mod just save you the need of put bed marks
the field medic adds a item that do this, and i think its tottaly unecessary."

This is false if you have an actual hopital, as pawns will carry someone bleeding out to hospital, ignoring the sleep spot you placed nearby.
baboon 2 Feb, 2020 @ 12:35am
if (selPawn.skills.GetSkill(SkillDefOf.Medicine).get_Level() < 8)
thanks for making your own mod useless
Triel 17 Jan, 2020 @ 10:22am
Will pawns use meds with smart medicine?
Arcanochromatic Detonation 9 Aug, 2019 @ 9:31pm
The only question I have is whether, if you make a medic carry around medicine, if they will use it or not.
GenBOOM 22 May, 2019 @ 7:17am
got it, thanks. yeah I already use dubs rimkit so I don't need the medic bag from field medic
