My game told me it only works for 1.0,1.1,1.2. Just FYI since last comment says it would work.
Scherub 11 Jun, 2024 @ 4:59am
This mod should work with 1.5, but you can also switch to an improved version here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2571676542
Byarlathotep 9 Jun, 2024 @ 4:26am
Any luck in 1.5?
Monkey Magic 28 Jul, 2023 @ 6:47am
Pretty much as Boris the Blade aaid - just needs an update for the patch info from the author..
Boris The Blade 18 Jun, 2023 @ 12:42pm
Still works in 1.4
L 25 Oct, 2022 @ 11:29pm
update?
K33industries 13 Dec, 2021 @ 12:54am
It works in 1.3 just ignore the red sign in the mod list
_♣Caligula♣_ 29 Nov, 2021 @ 10:56am
*What* exactly does not work in 1.3?
Witch ~ 21 Nov, 2021 @ 4:32am
It doesnt work for 1.3
Sha2pDressedCat 17 Nov, 2021 @ 9:29am
Personally, if a lot of people ask me to update my mod, I would know that I made a good one.
Shinoskay 28 Oct, 2021 @ 10:52pm
Why do people think its good to go around bumping mods complaining about how it doesnt say 1.3 even if it works on 1.3? or even going around trying to get devs to update mades so they do work?
I dont like dogpiling, or complaining, but it does seem really rude going around complaining just because you dont like seeing yellow in your in game log.
Scherub 4 Oct, 2021 @ 1:30am
Do you mean it increases 'Intellectual' in an unmodded base-game?
Pirates 3 Oct, 2021 @ 9:25pm
Stone cutting increases intelligence now instead.
Not sure when they implemented it as I've had the game about a month, but if one hovers the mouse over the intelligence in the bio, it will be going up.

@TrinaryO Learn to create your own mods like these people (with lives and responsibilities just like you!) if you want a feature or take what you can get like a normal person
axi 7 Sep, 2021 @ 7:30pm
Can confirm, works in 1.3 just as it does in earlier versions.
Gord 30 Aug, 2021 @ 9:21pm
@Trinary0 i hope you're trolling, or I agree with @vibbard you're a massive cunt
doctor bananas 27 Aug, 2021 @ 3:16pm
@Trinary0 obligation to update? you are one entitled fucking cunt. update it yourself then
MaverickMartyn 20 Aug, 2021 @ 5:30am
@Trinary0 While I agree that it is good form to eventually update mods, and respond to user feedback, modders are under no obligation to do so.
They may decide to not ever update it. If the demand is there, eventually a replacement or updated version will appear. Just start a new game, if you can't continue your old one without it, and return later.
Besides, I believe an unofficial update was linked further down the comments.
Scherub 16 Aug, 2021 @ 6:18pm
You may want to give this a try, it adds adjustable learning xp, work amount, selectable skill (Crafting or Artistic) and bulk recipes: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2571676542
Saint 14 Aug, 2021 @ 4:04pm
@TrinaryO Or you could spend 30 seconds and update the compatible versions yourself.
Roytulin 4 Aug, 2021 @ 12:01pm
Cheers for confirming, MxDanger
Luv N Hugz |UwU| 31 Jul, 2021 @ 2:08pm
But they're not obligated to, @TrinaryO.
Trinary0 31 Jul, 2021 @ 12:28pm
If it already works, surely they can spend the 5 minutes to update the mod's data to reflect that.
mxdanger 27 Jul, 2021 @ 2:13pm
To anyone who keeps asking, this mod works with 1.3 so its already "updated" for 1.3. You'd just have a little warning next to the mod when it is enabled until the mod author adds 1.3 as the supported version in the metadata.
Roytulin 26 Jul, 2021 @ 7:07am
Would be nice to know whether or not this is getting updated :)
Scherub 21 Jul, 2021 @ 3:31pm
Raul 20 Jul, 2021 @ 4:14pm
An update for 1.3 and Ideology would be awesome!
Fulgrim ツ 20 Jul, 2021 @ 2:40pm
update plz <3
Demonlord09 20 Jul, 2021 @ 1:54pm
Needs an update for 1.3 and Ideology.
MahBR 20 Jul, 2021 @ 6:24am
1.3 come on men :c please
치 The Spearman 치 19 Jul, 2021 @ 5:30pm
I'm still using it, no errors and the exp does tick up 25 points when the stone blocks are complete. The mod appears to still be working, the yellow display in the mod list just exacerbates my OCD.
FancyPoncho 19 Jul, 2021 @ 1:25pm
Thank you for this mod can you update to 1.3 please?
Ex Ossibus Fumus 18 Jul, 2021 @ 6:50pm
Can anyone confirm if this is functional as is for 1.3? just wanna make sure i can still use this with the new DLC
Rayne 18 Jul, 2021 @ 3:55pm
Nice little mod, would love a 1.3 update.
1337 Kiwi 14 Jul, 2021 @ 6:51pm
I would appreciate an update to 1.3 when you have time, thanks.
Gorg420 18 Jun, 2021 @ 12:01pm
Can this be added to ongoing save games ?
allultima1 13 Jun, 2021 @ 8:08pm
Thanks for the tip in lowering the exp rate for balancing. <workSkillLearnFactor>0.25</workSkillLearnFactor>
I was thinking I only wanted a little bit and found .25 is already on the low side and to my liking; .20 would be the lowest I'd recommend.
Sandy 3 May, 2021 @ 7:48am
Sorry guys, false alarm. The xp is given after cutting the stones, not while cutting them. and it works fine with both Bulk stonecutting mod and Electric stonecutting mod.
Sandy 3 May, 2021 @ 7:13am
Hi. Thanks for the mod. Is it possible to add patches for the Bulk Stonecutting mod and Electric Stonecutting mod?
Nyans 30 Mar, 2021 @ 4:15pm
Great been looking for this! Is this mod compatible with electric stonecutting table?
Miguel V-DF 3 Mar, 2021 @ 12:27pm
you can edit the mod to modify the rate of xp gained.

Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\1207390617\Patches\Patches_Skilledstonecutting.xml

modify the <workSkillLearnFactor>0.25</workSkillLearnFactor>
Darthaniel 23 Feb, 2021 @ 3:23pm
I kinda see why they removed it from the base game, all of my people assigned to crafting are almost maxed skill level a year into my colony. Wondering if its possible to add a setting to reduce the amount of xp gained? Not entirely eliminate it, but maybe something where I could set it at like 50% so my people aren't all masters in crafting just because they cut blocks.
Monkey Magic 13 Jan, 2021 @ 3:56pm
This should be base-game functionality IMO. I can't think of a reason why this was removed from stonecraft, and why smithing isn't rewarded . If a pawn is the designated "smith" they should be able to increase their capabilities - especially if that's their one job.
Skele₊ 23 Dec, 2020 @ 3:26pm
Would be nice to having a smelting equivalent made by someone yea, this mod works pretty well as is. Could pretty much replicate it, let us know if someone does :)
Botaxalim 7 Nov, 2020 @ 9:34am
yea Skilled Smelthing too pleaseee....
Tweeny 27 Oct, 2020 @ 10:32am
any plans on doing the smelter too?
Billy Baxter 22 Sep, 2020 @ 9:30am
@Zverda I was watching for the number to increase. It works like you said it would. Cheers.
Zverda 21 Sep, 2020 @ 11:51pm
@Billy Baxter and @Space Dandy - are you watching it during the cutting.process and determining no XP because the numbers aren't increasing as you work? If that is the case, the XP is granted after the job is done. If you aren't seeing a number change after the job is done then idk what the issue may be.
