Also i read in the dev diary that you either kill palpatine or destroy the ds2 to win. No palpatine through the entire playthrough and they havent built the death star

Does this even work? Playing as rebellion and ive taken over every planet except for endor bc it doesn't let me attack it

I would be impressed if you made a more story based GC later on wherein you play special missions that adhere to the canon/legends of star wars between ESB and RoTJ. Loving the mod so far, keep it up!

Jarikzekk I am not sure what is wrong... and it is not your tech that matters, it is the Empire's so if they tech up it will trigger. Just gathering some info, did you kill Vader at some point?

@jar i once forced the battle for endor by sitting in space on the world palpy was, try doing that, but make sure u have enough heavy hitters, and possably a few Bwings, in case the Falcon and Rouge squad dosnt make it in the fight

I probably broke the game... I play as the Rebels and took Kuat and Fondor, it is day 130, my Tech 5 is long unlocked but Palpatine won't leave Coruscant, Endor has no Space Station and the Empire won't fight against my Class 5 Station on Fondor, so how do I solve this? Just wait on hard until something happens or start from scratch?

Having Palpatine 'clones' wouldn't fit the lore of the era the mod is set in. When Palpatine dies at the end of RotJ he spends the next six or so years collecting his strength and sitting in the shadows.

The rebellion should not be that strong or aggressive. I was on easy and in the first two minutes(of the galactic map, not includin battles) got attacked in five places by fleets that a couple of acclamators and scout fighters cant defeat. Make the rebels less agressive please. It is not realistic if the rebels attack the empire constantly.

@zap probaly cause of AI problems, would be my guess, the AI already uses heros like they have unlimited respawns

Brady, B-Wings (which are at the end of the tech tree for the Rebels) can also destroy the DSII. So can Han+Chewie.

ok so was playing a game asullted DSII but rouge squadron randomly died despite being in the corner of the map (tatran prop chased them) but with perma death im locked out of destroying the death star without them basicly a game over

Palpatine dying too soon seems to be a recurring problem for folks. I may either remove the victory condition, or make an additional GC, so there is one with and one without but effectively the same scenario.

As much as I like the mod, especially how simple yet effective the changes are to CQ. I find the ending a bit premature with the fact the entire GC ends when Palpatine dies....as he invades a planet singlehandedly, dieing to 8 T4Bs.

Hey all, I just made a minor update to the mod. When playing as the Rebels Palpatine will only spawn at Empire tech level 4 instead of at scenario start. This should lessen the likelihood of the AI Leeroy Jenkins-ing with him. I still like the idea of the Rebels surviving long enough to assassinate him during land combat before the DSII is built, which is why I have not removed him entirely from the AI spawn list.

There is for the Empire as an added challenge since they get access to thr DSII and Vader/Executor.

Ah I think I may now why. Wolfy, there is a time limit to defeat the Rebels and Black Sun. You likely did not completely conquer the galaxy in time. Check the objectives.

@wolfy DS2 can only be build if palpy is on endor, so that means, a glitch in the game caused your defeat it would seem...... cause i got no idea as to why you lost

no palpy stayed at coruscant (which i always heavily guard) and i looked but never saw the production option for the DSII

heck not even auto resolve, i have lost palpy from just using him when the rebels have a heavy ground force, forgetting i lose when he dies

Maybe add more worlds to the rebel uprising mechanic. I found that I just stopped getting worlds after a bit. One thing to do is make it so that the rebels cant just build a death fleet. Like maybe make ships cost more or take longer to build for them or something.

Firestar, my intention in the mod design is not for the Rebels to go conquering the whole galaxy. I'm trying to be as EU-lore friendly as I reasonably can be. So the Rebels are scraping together what resources they have to strike the Emperor at Endor (or wherever the DSII may be). The narrative being once this happens the campaign is over and the campaigns of the Thrawn's Revenge mod would be the next chapter. Again that is the intention, but play will always escape intention I'm sure.

Darth Rayne, you could learn to do it yourself. That is an oddly specific thing to look for a mod for. Or just fight more battles.
