No that was plenty thank you. I ended up doing more research on it and its a hammer specific function. Nonetheless still love this tool.

My tool just provides an easy way to play VCD files in real time. To use one these animations in Hammer, all you need to do is place some named NPCs and a scripted sequece in the map. I hope this answers the question, because this addon really doesn't need any kind of extra integration.

- Change npc_scene_start to 1 by default;
- Block the tool from applying the same name on a NPC multiple times;
- Add option to keep actor name on reload (defaul is keeping now);
- Change scene loading to support the HL2 Anniversary update.

Haha I'm aware they are broken. Everyday I work from 9 ~ 14h, that's why I didn't fix the reported bugs over my addons yet. I don't want these free addons to feel like work too.

Will there be a fix for this eventually? Big fan of this mod, and even though I'm aware of the temporary fix, I don't want to use up any more computer space than I have to by duplicating the VCDs.

The scenes are still there, you can write the path manually for any scene, they just don't show up... is it posible to fix that?

@venom he fixed it by placing the vcd files directly in the addons/myaddon/scenes folder. NPC Scene searchs for custom vcds, but I don't really recommend creating that many files because the code to load them is at least slower then the one that seems to not be working right now.

I fixed it by putting the scenes or files by ep and base (they were on the internet) and I put it in the "Scene" folder of the gmod and it read it as before, I would say that those at facepunch have changed something

Yes, I have them mounted, and I'm sure of that, a few days ago I was normal and I read all the scenes, but now I don't know why I don't anymore. It only reads the Lost Coast ones (which are now included with the EP and Half Life 2 base)

Binds to make the scene occur doesnt work, at least for me, when i press the key i binded the npc stay quiet, if i misuderstood anything in the mod, sorry then.

Looks like a game bug for me. You need to get the crash file in the game folder and send it to Facepunch devs in the gmod official Discord. I could do it 4 you but I need a detailed explanation to reproduce the bug.

It crashes my game whenever I try to use it say there was an engine error. This is one of my fav addons but it keeps happening and idk why. It used to work a few months ago :(
