Yes its safe to add or remove from existing saves.
@DRT99
Sorry I didn't do this until now, I didn't realise it's been a month already.
It does not although I probably should add that.
400w in vanilla is pretty sad, especially for something so explodey
Pristine Ruins >1M Worth: Allow me to introduce myself
The main reason for the update was I added support for Vanilla Furniture Expanded - Power. All Vanometric cells provide double what they normally give. I included the Archotech Violence Generator since its listed in the same file and its kind of the same sort of item.
I've used Your code to tweak power to my liking.
Stay Safe!
I don't know about programming but mod menus shouldn't be too difficult. I don't think I'll do anything large scale I generally mod the stuff that annoys me and nobody has made a mod for yet. At any rate it won't happen anytime soon since its a very low priority. Right now I'm sleep deprived since I'm busy full time looking after two new husky puppies.
No worries it didn't come off that way to me. I understand its easier to change it in a menu in game then futz around with the files.
It was previously 500W so it was 5x as powerful as vanilla. I had considered upping it after the change but I left it for the time being. As for a mod menu it's something I need to look into some time it requires coding which I have no clue how to do.
Sorry but I really don't want to go adding old versions to the workshop especially for a beta version after the game has officially released. Having said that nothing was changed except the version number so the mod works perfectly fine with B19. It will warn that it's the wrong version but that can be safely ignored. There's also a manual download for the B19 version available in the attached mod collection.
It's one of the special world quest rewards. So it's super rare unless you have a mod like RimQuest or change your scenario settings to get more quests.
The only changes this mod makes are to Vanometric Power Cells an item in the vanilla game.
It's a simple patch, it should have no issues to be added or removed from existing games.
Because I only know how to edit xml files. I have no idea how to code an options menu.
I don't plan to make any alternate versions. I'm sure everyone has a different idea on how much power it should give. The mod is set to how much I felt was appropriate considering the items rarity. I've included instructions in the description how to modify the power value so people can change it however they like with a minor edit.
This can run a modest Hospital, or workshop, but not a whole base.
Considering there is no refueling and no tech requirement, you would bypass all need for alternate power sources.
Could you perhaps do a "light" version?
