Note that this only works for vanilla planets, and only if nothing else is overriding them.

also disabling metorites keeps the land prestine
However:
"The ore spots have been removed as well to make it really hard to find something."
Not true on my end. I found my first subterranean nickle deposit 130 km below the surface... under the dark spots I've become so familiar with.
But what bothers me most ab out this game is the ugly, out of place, unrealistic surface "warts" that litter the land.
If there were a way to get rid of these surface nodes my opinion of this game would increase significantly.
After a long time i've updated all versions of my mod and the issues with the black sky on Triton should be fixed.
Furthermore i've added a FAQ which covers the most asked questions.
If you encounter any problems feel free to report them here :)
However now play on Mars. Is there version that only makes ores less common on planets? I mean all type of ores available but much less common.
It boders me that I don't need to go anywhere to search for ores. I have several patches of each type of ore in range of several km.
This markers are so unaccurate.
The only solution I have in mind is built drilling construction on 2 horizontal pistons. Drill to ore level and adjust position with pistons and a lot of manual drilling.
Optionally I can put also horizontal drills. It would enable to avoid manual drilling.
Depends on what kind of other mods you are using. If you're using mods which add other types of ore or modify the vanilla planets then of course you will get errors. Check your modlist ;)
@Sandman
This mod only changes planets/moons not asteroids! Asteroids are different from planets and it would need another mod to change their appearance.
Thx for your answers!
Yeah, seems like i've to put some work into this mod again, but don't worry, will try to do it asap ;)
Starting a new game has nothing to do with weather working, you just need to wait for this mod to update with the weather entries included.
Mods like this need to replace the entire Planet Generator file in order to do their changes, and thus need to be updated each time that file is.
The author seems to be reasonably active, so I'd wager an update for this will come within a week at most.
Use an ore detector mod here from the workshop just search for "ore detector range" and you can choose which one suits to your needs.
@ steinmy.js
You can add the mod even after you've created your world BUT then you would have to replace the existing planets by hand which is a bit of work. I recommend to add it right before the start!
Yeah about the ore spots, blame KeenSWH for the constant changes of the textures and settings. I kinda gave up to follow their chaos. The spots are less visible but shown in any version of my mod.
