This model glows even in darkess, is there anyway to get rid of that? I tried using illumposition, but it doesn't seem to be changing the model.

from the beginning I wanted to make just 90 separate models. Then when he began to arrange the first 30 models, I realized that it was just hellish labor. And I made pak-models for each species. To the same "more convenient" is no longer done.

Unfortunately this is not UE4 where to create a grass, just a couple of brush strokes in the editor.

This is technically impossible to do. I already suggested earlier, to make 1 model where all 90 models are present at once and each has its own bone, in the form of a field as in the screenshot. More like this can not be implemented, this is not provided by the engine.
The only thing I saw is some scripts that automatically load the rest of the models, for example clothes for the character, but I do not understand this at all.

Not really, I was talking about making all of them visible in the viewport at the same time. So you have all the model of grass in only one model, instead of spawning them individually. This could save much time.

Dunno, it could maybe be useful to have a bodygroup for the megapack.mdl that display all the .smd at once instead of spawning models / change bodygroup individually.

Any idiot understands that UE4 is better in everything, but there are no games on it like Garry's Mod and possibly SFM. For this reason, the Source Engine is still used.
All the hope for the development of S&Box from Garry Newman.

Nice but might be a wasted effort no? I mean, it will be possible soon to animate directly into the UE4 just like SFM and everything else (landscape editing, scene building, model porting...) is already far much easier in the UE4 than in SFM.

Might be more clever at this point to do the oposite, port SFM asset into the UE4, especialy since there is plugin for the UE4 which allow direct port of SFM BSP map into the UE4.

There will be litteraly 0 reason to stay on SFM once the UE4 get its animation editor plugin.
