oh i did find utlimecia and utlima weapon the both showed up in the dungeon you got to get the
elder scroll that you need to defeat audlen

@DarkLord it has been a long time since I made this mod or played skyrim. I really don't remember where I placed her or the Ultima Weapon! If the mod is working, she is in their somewhere. I believe the area has a town in ruins nearby.

Maybe you can set the "??????" enemy who helps Ultimecia to Griever, that would be amazing!
(Griever is the GF that Ultimecia used in the last fight.)

I also have a FF6, and FF4 mod that is still functional that can be found on the nexus.

That's a lot of FF followers :)

FF6 requires all the expansions though I believe.

That's right.

Also, you could use the UFO mod or one of the other mods from the nexus/workshop that allows you to use multiple followers at once, just like a FF party.

Or just the just do as you mentioned, hire, dismiss, repeat.

Ah that makes sense. I was worried I would lose my characters. Does that mean if I own a house I can get a FF follower, take them there, dismiss, they will stay there, and I can get another follower, take home, dismiss, so that they all remain there?

Cool. Yeah when I used to mod companions it was the most requested feature, so that people could dismiss them in player houses and what not. I'd recommend choosing a base of operations and soring your companions there. There are plenty of great mods for player homes on her and the nexus.

Ok. I deleted and reinstalled files to get them back to the normal areas, I have a feeling they were by dungeons or places I picked up another person. Will be careful where I dismiss next time :)

All companions have local dismissing.... therefore they should be within 500m of the location where you dismissed them.

If I dismiss a character they do not return to where they originated. Is there a way to find them? Are they wandering somewhere, or lost forever?

Just wondering, are the above "required" mods actually required, or just what you recommend for the best experience or best integration with your mod? Basically I want to know if I get yours without the others, if the characters are going to be hairless and armorless, lol :P Thanks, and from the looks of it, great job. Final Fantasy's my favourite game series, playing as Cloud with Squall as my follower in a game that looks this good is like a dream come true rofl. So thanks for taking the time to not only make but share this with others (y)

Their locations are in the description... you will find them in the inns of the indicated towns if you have this installed correctly.

unfortunately i cannot find any of the listed companion NPCs. can i get a more narrowed down location if at all possible. been tryin to find all of them even squall and havent come up with anything

I should mention as well, I am currently finishing off a new fire emblem companion mod (my old one on the nexus is broken). The new one with characters from a variety of Emblem games will be posted on the nexus tomorrow.

That is what I would recommend. I have noticed that subscribing only grabs the companion data from the creation kit, but does not grab the textures/meshes.

If you dl ff8 companions from the link, make sure you copy all the data to your data folder, and merge the texture and mesh folders when asked All the pathing should be set up.

facetint can be fixed with a new games. I have heard of it going away when people simply did a clean save or left/entered a building.

Sometimes its load order...

Sometimes people never get it working... depending on what they are doing.

Using Urshi's face textures for men and women also works will at fixing it. found on the nexus.

When i first started playing with companion mods, I always had the problem... then I started to include mesh/texture data with my mods which fixed the problem. Just subbing on steam will not download my meshes and testures. As far as I know you can only get those from my link under important.

Did you sub or download from the link? Downloading from the link and merging my texture/mesh folder in your data folder will make it easier.

do i need to start a new game for the facetint issue to be gone because i still have the issue after merging the heroes of the lance in there ? assuming it should work since i know how to do it properly since the sky hairs

hey hummmm now i fixed the hairs by retrying what i did before, weird i didn't do anything different

I'm thinking it is something to do with copying the texture and mesh folders. You could post amessage on apachii's nexus form, he/she was always really good at replying in the past.

i was wondering if pasting the folders hair directly into actors/characters/character assets for each sections instead of copying the meshes directly into the desired folders have anything to do with this? I took the hair folder amd copied it into the characters assets, meshes for meshes, textures for textures.

No worries at all, i might have this mixed up myself... i think now you might be missing textures and meshes... this is from apachi site...


Installation:

Copy the ApachiiSkyHair.ESM, meshes and textures folder and paste it in your Data folder
and confirm to overwrite if you already have a meshes and textures folder there.

Try not to get frustrated, modding can be complicated at first, but when you get used to it, it will make adding more mods easier later.

All these questions about modding skyrim lately makes me whant to dive into it again lol

Ok just check the .esm and .esp load order for apachi then, and double check to see if apachi requires more than one file.
