From all War Paints on Workshop, this might be my favourite, it's looks so clean.

I like it a lot, I really like the clean colors, though some people MIGHT compare it to the
Night Owl Mk.II.

Yeah, which is a shame. I hope Valve releases some tool like CSGO's workbench to allow us control scale and maybe apply specular and normal maps.

But anyway, thanks for the feedback!

Ah, didn't realize scaling varied that much. And I suppose with that issue it would be difficult to make a convincing specular map using just the alpha layer of the diffuse map since the resolution would be the same.

@Shakes

For war paints, there's currently no way for us to apply an external specular map to our texture.

For the pixel "issue", it depends on the weapon. We don't have any way of controlling the scaling of the pattern (hence why the pattern randomly varies in size from weapon to weapon). Else I would have scaled down the pattern individually for weapons like the Air Strike and Black Box.

mind if you save me one

Honestly, the base pattern for the threading just looks like a fill bucket pattern with some minor brushwork added. I think that part would benefit from a specular map to give the fibers some texture. It also doesn't look very convincing with the resolution of the texture. I mean, I can see individual pixels and it ruins the effect; it looks more like a checkerboard than threaded material.

That being said, I can see that effort was put into this, and it looks decent, but I think a bit more effort and refinement would make it even better.

Thank you!

Once again; Simple, yet clean. Very nicely done.
