How can I have normal crosshair again?

Hey man, quick question. Can you make this AddOn for Sniper Rifles?? I hate the crosshairs in the Snipers when you scope in.

That console command crosshair with cl_crosshair_alpha 0 for doesn't work, I still have melee crosshair, This mod sees to it , That its removed fully !

A must-have for when one uses a custom crosshair with cl_crosshair_alpha 0 instead of crosshair 0 to see the cooldown circle after shoving several times, which does not hide the melee crosshair, so a custom crosshair and the melee one overlap. Not anymore!

@T626 if you want to have no melee crosshair but a crosshair for grenades you or someone else would have to make a script because what this addon is most likely doing is just making the crosshair image completely transparent

and scripts only work in local/listen servers, not dedicated

@slwaq, it works. I've been using it, it could be that you may maybe mods messing it up, maybe enable the mod get out and get back into the game and see if that works.

I however have to ask you if you could change this mod so I can keep the crosshairs on the grenades in-game. I can't live without them!!! and not having them is utterly throwing me grenade throwing skills off while I play.

@GB Connor it doesn't remove the crosshair completely for infected, once you spawn in theres a big white crosshair that acts just the same, though it doesn't appear when you are in ghost mode, and if you have to re-charge your attack, it shows it on the crosshair

Minor problem - the crosshair doesn't come back if you get on a mounted gun with a melee weapon equipped.

@SirJakeJenkins Actually I find it makes a rather cool effect, as you can use the recharge thing as a crosshair, I find it looks nicer than the other crosshair

I wish someone would make a crosshair that has the same quality as the main one.

Interestingly, this also disables throwable crosshairs and versus infected crosshairs. Nothing against you, but I would like to know where i'm aiming as Smoker.

@Scandinavia It's not his fault valve decided to put the same crosshair as the melee weapons on to the throwables, so stop blaming him.

Would not recommend, removes the Crosshair for all throwables, you know, those things you have to be precise with?
Many times I have missed windows and burned up my team's health, incap some, and even kill some.
It also makes it near impossible to stop a hunter pounce with throwables.
2/10 no effort put into this.

This is a cool idea, but the problem is the melee crosshairs are also used for the Infected crosshairs in Versus mode. Might want to work on that in some way!
