Yes and no.
When I wrote the values I used the vanilla animals as base. It's suppouse to be that if you hit the main body, there's a chance to roll for an internal hit.
Saying that, I've decreased the value to hit the wings and allow the main body to be hit more often. Again, I didn't account for two wings taking up a lot of the hit coverage.
Anyway i am pushing this for the update as i playetested it a bit and seemed to work fine.
Though I noticed that you've set the body part coverages to combined 100%. Lot of modders make that mistake. The problem with that is that it makes it impossible to hit the main body, and the creature becomes too easy to defeat (too high chance of getting hit in heart, brain, etc).
Vanilla animals have body hit chance ranging from 20% to 25%, so I'd recommend lowering all other coverages by that amount. You can check the hit chances by spawning the animal in dev mode, then checking Health -> Debug info -> Parts hit chance (exactly this part).
And it does not matter where in the file the xml the tags are as long as they're under the correct parent.

could you please add a picture or text in the describtion with their hitpoints, carry weight, dps etc.
also the wildness, those things help alot deciding how balanced something is :) will definetly give this mod a chance in my next run
