Another great car from Fulysic. Thank you. =)

Awesome mod! I appreciate all the hard work!
david 9 Aug, 2019 @ 9:08pm
Still the best mod in the game. :)

My first car in real life. Had rebuilt and blueprinted 389, Hurst Grip with tall shaft shifter connected to Muncie M21 close ratio. Did wheelies with low profile M/T 50s on back. Raced 1/4 miles on strip behind MCRD San Diego with everything I could find ('77-'78) and never lost a race.

Sad day when folding front end fell apart and no one had parts. Left on side of the road - still have the keys lol. :)
Sergeikat01 9 Aug, 2019 @ 10:35am
why do i need the dodge DLC? What parts are used from it?
Home  [author] 25 Jan, 2019 @ 4:37am
cheers david been long time since had one these in the shop :)
david 24 Jan, 2019 @ 4:37pm
The Gasser is one of the few cars that doesn't use a traditional front axle. For some reason, all of the front wheel suspension parts must be removed before you can remove the rear coil spring axle. :)
Home  [author] 24 Jan, 2019 @ 4:17pm
maybe you missed something normally those issue with game assets not related to mod
Fish 24 Jan, 2019 @ 12:30pm
Love this mod but Im rebuilding the Gasser and it wont let me remove the rear axle housing.......Any idea why or did I maybe miss something? all the suspention is out along with the driveshaft.
david 18 Jan, 2019 @ 5:15pm
LOL! Great feedback, not that I'll take it into consideration for future comments. (This is normally when you resort to name calling so go for it) :)
CptnFlame 6 Jan, 2019 @ 2:28am
tres beau travail, attention toutefois au la barre stabilisatrice avant qui passe a travers le carter d'huile, et les sortie d'echappement avant rentre un peu dans l'essieu.

great work, thank you
david 21 May, 2018 @ 9:17pm
Just an FYI, I'd always wondered why deadbob777's Aston Martin Vulcan handled so much better than every other high HP car - downforce=12 lol
david 21 May, 2018 @ 8:49pm
Hope you feel better very soon bud. :)
david 21 May, 2018 @ 8:47pm
The downforce was exactly what the doctor ordered. Now my 1500HP Gasser does 16 sec laps on Martinsville and handles much more realistically. I've found CX to be a problem on tracks, once it kicks in on straights it's about impossible to slow back down, but it does force the cars to track straight lol. My only suggestion to add would be digital steering, instead of all or nothing analog. Every controller in the world today allows for incremental steering, of course that doesn't help those using keyboards but it could be an option under settings? Now only about 250 cars to edit with downforce lol. Thanks again sir. :)
Home  [author] 21 May, 2018 @ 8:31pm
yeah its worth a shot even playing with the suspension stiffness may help worst case playing with CX value but use caution with that can have negitive affects on car but alot of this should be accessable without going into the config files at least be added to editior

But other than that not much we can do
suggestion i made:
Adjustable ride height and stiffnes in game like gearboxes
camber
traction values in config
HP and toque settings in config so not tide to motor scale

Once i well again i will chase down some answers but only submitted list recently
david 21 May, 2018 @ 8:19pm
And that's why you are the man! Thank you Fulysic. :)
Home  [author] 21 May, 2018 @ 7:54pm
Might be worth adding downforce line in config which what plan to do when i do revist also keep in mind now tracks are released they are working on car handling i have suggested bunch of improvment

If want add downforce it goes under door angle in the config example below
downforce=2.5
david 21 May, 2018 @ 7:49pm
I have a 1500+ HP Gasser with V8 SC and a 1200+ HP version with V8 Stary SC. Increased scales to 1.3 and 1.4 respectively and added exhaust for the tuning parts. They're both undriveable except on the speed track on the occasional perfectly straight run down the track, as soon as I turn the wheel at all they start jumping all over the tracks. Usually they veer one way or the other when it hits 3rd gear. Still my favourite mod. It's a shame that more people don't learn and use the in-game editor. I think that other than allowing these great mods in, it's the best feature of the game. Personally, I think the physics of the game need more attention than this mod. People won't be happy with how any of these RWD cars handle with more HP. In real life, holding it straight in first couple gears would be the challenge and once it hits 3rd it should track straight. :)

it will have more soon i have plans to revist my old mods do fixes add more parts etc

only race car versions show at salon
Fippls 17 May, 2018 @ 1:41pm
Hi! Is it possible to flag this as an old car? It's a bit strange to go to the car dealer and find a brand new GTO with zero miles on the clock :)
david 26 Apr, 2018 @ 5:03pm
Sorry, when you said rear end I think of differential/supension parts. Front suspension must come off before rear suspension - think that's only for gasser. If you mean body parts, I've never had a problem with it although some require it off the lift with door open to get at rear seats or cage.
david 26 Apr, 2018 @ 4:03pm
For the Gasser you must remove the front end before removing the rear end.

Amazing Car, Ive spent many hours under the hood ( and in the config file )

I now have 3000hp Drag version of this car. (using the v12)
0-50 .816 Sec
0-100 1.833
0-200 4.233
0-300 6.899

Top Speed around 400kph

I jacked up the back end put on some big slicks and this car tears up the track. Thank you so much for modding this car for us all to enjoy

If i knew how to add screen shots i would
AlconburyBlues 7 Jan, 2018 @ 11:34am
Great car. Only one minor thing that needs to be changed.

When using the gasser/race car body, especially the left front door with the window net, you should not be required to install the left (and right) door windows.

Race cars don't have door windows.

Maybe this needs to be changed at the car variant level. Because I can't see the possibility of elimating the door windows from the parts list just because you selected to use the race car body parts. So therefore the R6 and V8 race cars should not have door windows in the parts list at all.

After a half dozen builds of various parts, I just have to say you've done fantastic work. If I remember correctly, the '65 was the only year that had the folding front end (mine did, doughnuts on a dime). Had a rebuilt 389 and Muncie tranny - never lost a race in that beast around San Diego. Thanks so much for your attention to detail. My only suggestion would be raising the back end a bit as air shocks were the norm in those days. I had Mickey Thompson M-50/15s, but have to go down to R40 to get them to fit under these fenders. Thanks again! :)
Home  [author] 22 Dec, 2017 @ 7:35am
no but since workshop opened there has been some werid issues with mods some people have gone back to manually installing them to avoid issue's remeber there is 50 mod limit also
david 22 Dec, 2017 @ 7:00am
DIY race car, Gasser, and Speed Hunters all worked now. Must be a full moon. Thanks again! :)
