I've updated the mod to the latest update.
@Sasquatch For the first day (day and night cycle) this mod just gathers data. Were those 19 trains different from the default vanilla value?
@Ranazomic Well, I didn't know it existed, it should be similar. This mods does have a UI that shows which stops are most used and their number of passengers so I would say this one is better.

Have to agree with the other comments, this mod is broken. Set up a new metro line and it started with 19 trains for just 200 passengers. That would have broken the line trying to fit all those trains on it.

Looks like it can get stuck generating way more vehicles than are necessary, which clogs up your roads and transport lines. For example: right now I have 76 buses for 168 passengers, and 40 trams for 140 passengers.

162 busses on one line for 600 passengers? Something is totally wrong with this, and doesn't seem to get fixed by the complaints I am seeing... Unsubbed!

Can it work toghether with ipt?
Would love to have this to control transport numbers, but need ipt2 to set specific vehicles for each line or map area.....
If thee was a way to choose mod priority, I would put this mod with higher priority so that it cancels ipt2 budget feature (which is worse to control transport numbers in my opinion).

Perhaps if you introduced a manually set maximum number of vehicles. I have a city where it spawned in like 35 metro trains and they all clogged up. My lines were in a clockwise loop and counter clockwise loop so they never crossed even. Just so many vehicles they occupied every available inch of track!!

This totally messed up my city. After running it for a long while I checked my transit. Two of my metro lines had trains that were stuck, blocking the whole system and leaving 1000s of passengers stranded. I had bus lines serving 100 CIMs with 38 buses running on the line snarling traffic at all the bus stops on the route as half a dozen buses queued at each one. Uninstalling and going around fixing 45 bus lines and 10 metro lines now. (Deleting stalled trains, etc.) :(

@DeMexi Was it in the first few day and night cycles? To estimate the number of passengers that use a line the mod needs to have an excess of vehicles otherwise some cims will despawn. You just have to wait a few day and night cycles. This is "problem" is described in the description.

At one point the mod put 40 vehicles on a line that only served 120 passengers "a week", according to the stats window.

Since it's hard to interpret that statistic, I was just wondering if that amount makes sense to you or of something weird is going on.

@DeMexi It should revert if you disabled the mod. But you have to wait a bit for the vanilla code to reduce the number of vehicles

Seems to be some problem when creating new routes. Some limit on the number of stops you can add to a route? Not sure exactly what the problem is, but during the 'add stop' action, it fails to draw the path to the new stop and it's impossible to complete the route. I seem to be having lots of array errors too... all was fine until I enabled this mod.

This is unfortunately not possible from Real Time's side. The whole Real Time's simulation logic is based on changing of this variable's value. Depending on the selected "time speed" (in Real Time), this variable gets different values. And these values always differ from the original vanilla game's values. In fact, it should be no problem in other mods to calculate any time-related numbers: all values in the game's SimulationManager are correct and always synchronized. This is ensured by Real Time.

I could add a setting to change that but then everytime you disable or enable the mod you have to go change the value (and you would have to know the correct value to insert). The best way for this work would be for my mod to be able to know the correct value for DAYTIME_FRAMES and I think the best way to do that is if the day time mods updates it to the correct value.

@Dalveen From what I can remember from researching this a while I go the best way to do it would be for the real time mod to update the SimulationManager.DAYTIME_FRAMES variable.
This variable is the number of simulation frames that a day (from the day and night cycle) has in Cities Skylines and my mod already uses this variable. Could you write a comment on his mod asking for it?

any chance to make it works well with real time mod? i mean that i think that 1 day of real time mod is diferent that 1 day for this mod, and that make spamming vehicles when not needed and viceverse.

@BrOkEn SiLeNcE* yes it works with Industries DLC.

Something I noticed is that if the vehicles get stuck in traffic the mod starts spawning more vehicles for the line. The result is that e.g. a line that requires roughly 10 busses to do it's work had 70 buses - blocking each other.

It has the negative busses bug in it... wont use this again until its fixed, and its a good mod if it works, i really like it

I've been having that bug ((0 / -2120000 buses available) for quite a while now. Will there ever be a fix for this? ...not even deactivating the mod worked.

Started new city in snowfall, im either having 6 vehicles per line and 200+ people on bus stop or 17 vehicles per line with 1-3 people in a bus. Had this mod from the beginning many so days have passed.

That is a good mod idea, works with park life, all DLC, in association with this mods (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1408992773) . But... When you have lot of people waiting in station, this mod will increase the number of metro (for example), until to block the traffic. It's will be nice to limited the max of vehicle generated by the mod.

I will have to look into the reported incompatibilities with IPT2. As for compatibility with park life I haven't played Cities Skylines in a while so I will wait for other to report if they have any problems. Thank you for all your reports and help debug the problem
