The Barrett M82A3 doesn't have as much recoil as the one in this mod does. I get how you say it's for the "balance". But some realism would be nice. Having a high powered 50 BMG. rifle with little recoil to take helicopters out of the sky and disabling ground vehicles with would be nice. If you don't want people spamming the rifle with little recoil then just tone down the RPM.

I love the model but the scope and zoom texture for mac is bugged to the point of it being un-playable, i'm sorry but when you fix that ill sub again

zoom texture really messed up on Linux
Also had the texture problem with pink all over Raven's cliffside map (forgot the name) if that gives any extra info

This is a great weapon! the specs of the weapons are great (Recoil, as if it was really a 50. compared to the other inaccurate recoils of other mods)

@BBTheHeartPainkiller ? I based it off realism, if you fire off a .50 BMG round it's going to to kick like a mule obviously and it's for balance reasons aswell so you can't just spam fire helicopter down.

Sui DEagle I know, i dont want the stupid recoil of the barret in the CoD franchise but it looks to exagerated, at least for me

You can fix it by making the scope the default one and call it m82A3 (mac) so it is easy to find for us

@kennyvincent49 I am purely talking about people running Mac OS as their Sniper mods aren't compatible for them and I have no clue how to fix it.

i heard you can run windows on mac though...look it up before judging plz

@Rasmus Rattenscharf People have different tastes, I prefer a more realistic style with high detail. I don't mind if you don't subscribe, I make my mods just for fun and mostly for me actually. I publish them so other people can enjoy them too, not aiming for popularity.

@Sui DEagle thanks very much, yes i know Macs aren't built for gaming, that's why so many of us have Ravenfield because it's one of a few games that does work. I'm guessing none of us bought our machines for games!

@chiscocks Macs are made to provide high performance for things such as programming, renderings, modelling ect. and not for gaming.

But I'm giving it a try to possibly fix it, hopefully what I'm doing is gonna fix Mac scopes.

Shame it’s not Mac. I think a fairly high proportion of Ravenfield players are on Macs because there aren’t many games like this that are supported.
