Please update it so that the light poles show up
majin_kratos 29 Sep, 2022 @ 9:08am
Basically what is plaza and promenads doing now?
GoatBlaze 17 Sep, 2022 @ 6:44am
Hey Urbanist since the Plaza and Promenade are here, will you able to port this asset soon?
Alexandrus 2 Jun, 2021 @ 11:29am
I love this pedestrian path because it's two lane. But tt could be much more better if there was another version with vanilla lights. For the ones that don't want to fill their not so strong computer with many assets they later won't use, or a mod to put lights over the road. But again, it's good and I wish more creators made roads of this kind.
Aziz 6 Nov, 2020 @ 11:16pm
Maybe someone asked you this question before but I couldn't find an answer
You have a building on the pedestrian path in the mod pictures, is it possible to do that with this road or did you use a mod or something?

Thank you

UPDATE: Recommended to use Swanky Street by MrMiyagi instead https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1752701943 It works properly
Urbanist  [author] 15 Jul, 2019 @ 7:21pm
@Failer Tram tracks are 0.3m below surface level, so they won't look good with this street
Tequila Sunset 23 Jun, 2019 @ 11:25am
for some reason lamps don't work, they are there, but there is no light
olepederhagen 29 Mar, 2019 @ 5:39am
I get lamp posts as bollards when this street connects to a street of a different type. Is that one of the problems you're fixing? Running this through my old town, and there are lamps in every intersection with the two lane plain streets.
Ellios2 7 Mar, 2019 @ 2:03am
This is the most interesting and practical road in your collection. With grass on the sides it could be pretty. Long live the cities without a car. Thank you for sharing !
Failer 6 Feb, 2019 @ 1:12am
While remaking this, could you as well make a team version?
I did manage to edit this one to the point where trams can use it, but they are ghost trams. They have no rails, and I can't model a new road out of it.
Also there are no cobblestone tram roads on the workshop, so it would be useful.
Urbanist  [author] 24 Jan, 2019 @ 6:56pm
Just want to let everyone here know I will be updating this asset as a new asset since it's semi-broken now. There will be no more bollards and default street lights so Network Skins works properly, as well as pedestrian lane fixes.
Urbanist  [author] 30 Dec, 2018 @ 8:29pm
Hi @Failer and @Gammro, you can try creating a new road using this as a template instead of editing the original one. That way it wouldn't replace this and you can release it.
Failer 22 Nov, 2018 @ 2:25am
Actually I made the non boolard one too, but if I put both of them together, it doesn't spawn bollards anyway. Also I tried to make this road with tram tracks, but I failed miserably... D:
Gammro 14 Nov, 2018 @ 6:12am
I made a version without the bollards in the asset editor, still looking how I can publish that because it's linked to this asset according to the game.

I would really love a single tile-width version(alley) of this though, which is harder without the original model or knowledge of 3d modelling.
Failer 11 Nov, 2018 @ 1:14am
Could you make another asset like this, just without bollards blocking the way? Id like to mix two of those, for having some of the road accessible for vehicles and other not.
Urbanist  [author] 12 Sep, 2018 @ 11:33pm
@jjaskw I think you need to click the Steam Workshop tab under small roads.
jnq3000 2 Sep, 2018 @ 9:42am
Can't find this anywhere :/ it worked when I just subscribed it, but then disappeared
Urbanist  [author] 2 Sep, 2018 @ 4:00am
@jaaskw @trixsterdo It's in the roads menu, together with other small roads. Look for the icon in the preview image.
trixsterdo 27 Aug, 2018 @ 9:05am
Hi. Where can I find it in the menu?
jnq3000 16 Aug, 2018 @ 7:14am
Hello, I have a problem. Although this road is subscribed, I can't find it in menu. Modern LIghting Pack is subscribed too! Could you help me?
baronjutter 26 Jul, 2018 @ 9:12pm
Would love to see a matching 1-lane thin street along with this one, something for those very narrow old-town streets :)
Urbanist  [author] 15 Jul, 2018 @ 10:17pm
@t.jacobs thanks for the work you did! I'll incorporate these changes into my upcoming contemporary pedestrian street. Also, I'll try to see if fixing this will break this asset.
t.jacobs 1 Jul, 2018 @ 12:26pm
@Urbanist I noticed that prop placement is broken by my changes. I didn't try to correct it, because I just played around to test if pedestrians could cross. Would it help to attach the props to the vehicle lanes? There you still have one for each side.
Apanatschi 1 Jul, 2018 @ 9:11am
@Urbanist

I allready tried with the editor and got it working.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DeAFKldHMqrRehM73e_mhbcFvKhbZM2z/view?usp=sharing

But i don't know what to do that i can add tram stations in game? Can you maybe help me with this?

Thx
Urbanist  [author] 1 Jul, 2018 @ 8:21am
@chris_69 Would love to but tram tracks are sunken 0.3m below the surface and this road is at surface level, so I can't unLess I made custom tram tracks, but that would make connecting to normal tram roads a mess.
Urbanist  [author] 1 Jul, 2018 @ 8:20am
@t.jacobs And you changed the positions of the props too? I made two separate lanes so that the road signs for LHD and RHD will mirror correctly.
Apanatschi 1 Jul, 2018 @ 3:57am
@Urbanist

Can you make this one with tram tracks included please?
t.jacobs 30 Jun, 2018 @ 10:48am
@Urbanist Not sure how to upload screenshots, but I can describe quite easily what I did:
1. Load your road and delete one of the two pedestrian lanes
2. For the other pedestrian lane change 'Position' to 0 and 'Width' to 16.
That's all. I didn't touch the car lanes.
Urbanist  [author] 30 Jun, 2018 @ 8:30am
@t.jacobs Thanks for the tip! And for the solution too! I'll look into this when I have time. It would help me if you can screenshot the settings you used in the road editor.
t.jacobs 30 Jun, 2018 @ 6:44am
Nice road! However,it seems that pedestrians are currently not able to cross the road at any point, i.e. they only cross at junctions (I use no mods that affect traffic or pathfinding AI). I noticed in the road editor, that you have made two separate pedestrian lanes for each side. I changed that to one single pedestrian lane (centered, 16 wide) and it seems to solve the issue.
Chadramar 13 Jun, 2018 @ 12:37pm
This looks great! The game really needs options for proper pedestrian zones. Are you planning to make a version with trees as well?
Urbanist  [author] 7 Jun, 2018 @ 7:27am
@「 LiTe Em uP 」Not sure what you mean, but you can use both and everything will be fine.
「 LiTe Em uP 」 6 Jun, 2018 @ 11:37pm
does this work with network extensions 2??
Elmo 2 Jun, 2018 @ 2:29pm
@Lusitanisher Kaiser Johan I came here just to say the same thing. +1 wider and/or with tram tracks :D love this road btw
Urbanist  [author] 26 May, 2018 @ 10:50pm
@[TNAT] Neilerator @Joao de Portugal @exothermic Yes I an aware of the many issues. I will be releasing a fixed version soon that no longer has lighted bollards, uses the free new city park lighting prop and new bench props from the Parklife update, and converted into one-way.
Urbanist  [author] 21 May, 2018 @ 1:45am
Hi everyone, if you like pedestrian/shared streets check out my new work Contemporary Shared Street (Parking Both Sides) at https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1391209732 :) It fixes many of the issues that this asset has.
OkapiJohn 17 Mar, 2018 @ 5:14am
Can you make a version with tram tracks please? and maybe a bit wider? thanks
neilerator 13 Mar, 2018 @ 10:56am
I used your street with the intended mod, thought the default light too bright though and changed the lightning. Until I saved everything was fine. Upon loading my save today, the lighting of the streets don´t work anymore. No mather what light I choose, this kind of street always remains dark. All other roads function but this. Any idea why ? It doesn´t even change the light, it always has the same skin. Only when it is crossing with a "normal" road, that´s not a pedestrian rote, the bollards turn into the intended lights and shine, but nothing else does. Do you know how I could fix this ?
exothermic 3 Mar, 2018 @ 5:58pm
Can you make a version without the needed mods?:steamsad:
Urbanist  [author] 23 Feb, 2018 @ 5:51am
Hi everyone, since this asset has been consistently quite popular with over 10k subscribers now, I'll be working on more pedestrian streets!
Urbanist  [author] 18 Feb, 2018 @ 8:51pm
@necrophant @Yuttho yes and yes, but my priority has shifted to newer projects for now... pretty soon I'm swinging back with a generic modern pedestrian mall though.
necrophant 26 Jan, 2018 @ 1:00pm
any ways to get rid of the bollards? one of my fav roads otherwise!
Joshua Norton 19 Jan, 2018 @ 8:45pm
@philmarghetto because you need the required lighting mod+network skins.
but i have the same problem because with network skins, my roads started to look weird and the mod itself just has a tad too much for my liking, especially for only using one road :I
philmarghetto 15 Jan, 2018 @ 10:27am
Does anyone know why the lights won't light up?
Urbanist  [author] 10 Jan, 2018 @ 4:45am
@Kant Destroyer I would really love to, but there's a limitation with the road editor that causes zones to start on both sides as if the road was 16m wide even if it's narrower, say, 8m. :( I can do it, but everyone would have to use Move it!
Kant Destroyer 8 Jan, 2018 @ 2:02pm
have you been thinking about making a much narrower (maybe one way only) version? i think it would look really great in european-styled cities, many of them have rather narrow streets in centers. thanks for the great road.
alyxanderwang 1 Jan, 2018 @ 5:33pm
@Urbanist Thanks :)
Urbanist  [author] 30 Dec, 2017 @ 8:26pm
@hanzio_ Yes, but you won't have the lights and you have to place your own lights manually.
alyxanderwang 29 Dec, 2017 @ 8:21pm
Are you able to use this mod perfectly without the required lighting mod?
