If Masked Man has left the game, can someone else take up the torch? I love this mod, and am REALLY Jonesing for it. Especially since the new Season has started. The vanilla Scouts are SO painful.

dude can you make scouts embark coastal tiles on reasearchign sailing , I play on archipelago and island plates and its so annoying that you have to wait so long to explore.

It does work with rise n fall, but rise n fall sometimes causes DLC to load in the wrong order wyhen using mods, which crashes the game. Try to disable and re-enable your DLC, that worked for some other guy.

This mod is a fantastic idea! The vanilla scout just feels a bit awkward to me and this addresses it quite nicely. However, having only one promotion available at the first rank it feels like something is missing. Is it possible to add a "Survivalism" promotion opposite Pathfinding that would grant the unit the ability to heal at the end of every turn, even if it moves or attacks an enemy unit, like the Mamluk has. This would allow you to develop Recon units as either a fast moving scout or hit and run combat support unit.

Added "ignore rivers" ability to scouts

Good mod. Only thing is that scouts don't ignore rivers like they did in Civ 5. Can you change this so that they do ignore rivers?

I love this mod with Scythian scouts it makes them as fast as her horses. Major kick AI civs butt going on now. Please don't take that advantage away.:steamhappy:

replaced 2 with 1, yes. it should be compatible with anything that doesn't mess with the recon promotion tree.

so you replaced the first 2 promotions in the promotion tree of scouts... with only one (Pathfinder)? or what other promotion did you add?
and this is not compatible with any other mod that changes scouts, right?
