I don't know why some strings cannot be translated. for examle:

If I just have this mod will the Bio General always get picked as the kill the General General or is it still only sometimes? Sorry for all the questions.

No they do not replace the other generals. How it works is when that mission spawns, if you have this mod and our other general mod active, one of them will be picked as the General for that mission. The mods do not conflict and can be used together. And both general types can also spawn in other mission types as well.

Thanks! Do the the Bio Generals replace the General in the Kill the General missions or do they spawn as additional enemies? If they do replace the General does this conflict with the Advent General Revamp mod or is there a chance you could get either General as the objective?

The Bio events SitReps are their own thing. But the generals in this mod can also show up in the Bio events SitReps yes.

You do know that while you have that objective an Officer will always spawn on the next mission until you complete it right?

Can you make them targetable by the skulljack please? So that if it spawns with NO OTHER officers present, I have a chance to complete the "use skulljack on officer" objective?

I must say, bring on the Aliens. With that, Im not meaning gerally but specifically the Alien movies (I love Giger!). Facehugger, Queen a.s.o. A specific mission line for this like the fishing village in Xcom 1 and I would be happy as a clam!!!!

@ObelixDk I have a question for you. I want to make an Airstrike Mod as an endgame ability for XCOM. The Sat Strike is freaking awesome and I was wondering if you could help me understand how to make that kind of mod so I could tailor it for my own goals.

I have no experience in modding, but I'm determined to learn to try and make an awesome game even more fun to play.

Ok, now I will have a nasty request. With all the mods Im running the Bio and berserker omega is myu favourites.....but, these also leave a nasty itch callled..."Bio-Sectopod". Yeh, a new nasty sectopod that comes out when the ordinary sectopod doesn cut it. It sends out 3 small Bio drones that attack with nasty acid darts. Otherwise it is like the ordinary sectopod with a bit more Hp, armor and maybe a weapon that shoots acid bombs.

I really love you work and I must have this Bio sectopod :steamhappy:

Can confirm, Bio Commander attempts acid strike, the icons appear on the screen, I move out of the way, and when it goes back to thier turn, CTD. This has occured in 2 seperate locations, with two different areas, even with lowered graphic settings and everything. My comp runs WOTC without problems on high settings. At this point im stuck with it on ironman playthroughs and I have to ConsoleCommand Kill the commander if he shows at this point, as I cant risk it

I'm not getting the crash guys. The only thing I can think of is that it's the larger area it's covering and that some PCs can't process the gas or acid effects in that large an area. If you have a older PC or even a PC that is running min specs for this game and or have your graphics settings not optimized, you're going to get these crashes with this ability I'd assume. I've tested this ability a few hundred times now and have not had this issue.

the same crash happens to me when the acid strike trips to initiate. No crash when the bio general calls it in, only when it tries to land

can confirm crash. when advent turn comes, game crashes. bio general called in an strike. after reload, the strike did not appear any more, but the game crashed every time with the last xcom soldier did his move. after loading several times I eventually killed the bio general. saved the game, restarted and game loaded only to the mission screen but never started the game. luckily I save my irongames before I fight. the animation of the strike appeared once before the crash series started.

ok, I see. It is the first time I have seen the strike. I normaly kill the generals pretty quick. Not possible with only 2 squadies though.

ill look into it more but still not seeing the crash on my end. Im sure its happening but it could be the crash is caused by the spread of the effects and the game needing to render it. If your PC cant render the explosions and gas and anything else that moves all at once, it could cause a crash. And this game is so unsteady at times :(

Just FYI I run on low/med settings. I am doing an ambush mission with 2 guys and lost. The first spawn ins are a bio general and a trooper. My 2 overwatches damage the general. He moves into cover and calls in a strike. I kill him with one guy and overwatch my other. End turn. Crash, just as I assume the strike should come in.

I am going to chime in with GG Knifmaster and say that I have also experienced the game crashing when the general calls for an acid strike. Whenever I end my turn that would normally cause the acid strike to activate the game just crashes. Also I am not in a chosen chamber, I am in an Avenger Defense. Doesn't seem to be isolated to any type of mission.

Started a new campaign and on the mission after gatecrash were you are in the tunnels I had to assassinate a bio general. I got the autopsy that leads to the strongest aoe in the game, I think; I'm sure there are bigger aoes out there, but that shouldn't happen on mission 2. Could they show up after a certain force level, or make the build more expensive? I can build this thing very early

Found a nasty bug / crash with WOTC , i was fighting the 1. chosen in his chamber and a Advanced Bio Commander got teleported in , 1 or 2 rounds after he spawned in he was calling for a Acid Strike , at the start of the next round where the Acid Strike should *spawn* in / activate the game crashes!

Always kill them 1. if you fight in the chosen chambers and they should spawn in !!!

hello to all. I am wondering if anybody has the same effect when using sat strike in a mission. sat strike works fine, after finishing the mission, all is working. the next mission, I get after the soldier select screen a stop of the game ( black screen waiting for the inside of the firebrand image ( soldiers sitting and waiting for the arriaval). This happens always after using sat strike in the mission before. If I do not use sat strike no loading error appears. the log says always this : [0677.59] Critical: appError called: Assertion failed: appErrorf [File:G:\BuildAgent\work\ce3b64a62966ccd1\branches\ShippingOzzy\XCOM2\Development\Src\Engine\Src\UnGame.cpp] [Line: 3072]

It is normal for Generals to show up that early. I still might adjust it. But even the normal General (non Bio) can show up that early.

Just started a new campaign with this mod and a Bio General showed up in my first retaliation strike mission. Seems kinda early for a "general" type unit, is that intentional?

@pauloel7. Rad rounds are pat of the Bio Beasts mod but they no longer give a crit chance. They now give a +1 damge to all organic units.
