Also running into the issue where I cant see the civ in the game at all :( Any tips on how to fix that?

I really enjoyed playing as this one. Most of the stuff works great, although the expending of units on rovas was a bit hit-or-miss. About half the time, eligible units expended automatically on crossing into a tile with a rova, and the other half of the time, they waited for me to manually expend them. The removing of heresy associated with this action was hit-or-miss as well. If the unit expended automatically, heresy was removed, but if it waited for me to expend a unit manually, heresy was not removed. So there are a couple functional issues with the mod currently, but they can be worked around, and it was still a blast to play as this civ.

Unfortunately I couldn't see this civ in the game at all. Neither on the regular nor the advanced selection screens. I tried downloading it through the workshop downloader, I tried subscribing, and I tried the dropbox download from earlier in the comments but nothing worked.

Not sure if you're still keeping track of this, DMS, but hopefully there's a fix.

When I enable this mod I can't scroll the leaders list while starting a new game.
DMS  [author] 7 Apr, 2018 @ 2:26am
Okay. Yea, no that's definitely not suppose to happen. I'll take a look at it soon. Again, thanks for the feedback. Always great when people take the time to give reports on balance concerns and stuff like this :).

So far I haven't noticed any crashes, but are Rova supposed to automatically expend units? Because now if I run a unit over a rova, sometimes it just automatically expends it.

I'm sorry, I hadn't been perfectly clear. The issue was having two different combat units on two different rovas. I'll test it out today and see what happens, but I'm hoping it works too! Thank you for your swift work by the way!

Since the changelog thingy doesn't want to display what the update includes, here it is:

- UA/AI: Fixed issue where the game would CTD when AI-Madagascar expended units on Rovas
- UA/UI: (hopefully) fixed issue where having two units on a Rova at the same time would cause a CTD.
- Misc: Adjusted some leader flavours - Ranavalona will now focus ever so slightly less on training units and a slightly bit more on science and growth.
- Misc: Fixed issue where MCIS icon wouldn’t show the amount of XP granted to units trained in cities under foreign religious pressure.
- Decisions: Changed Decisions text to JFD’s formatting.

@Jigbea4834, pushing an update now that hopefully fixes it. I haven't been able to recreate the issue, but it might be bc I fixed it while optimising the code without realising it. Since you can't have two combat units on the same tile, I assumed you meant a combat unit and a civilian unit (worker, settler, GP, w/e), but if that's not the case and you're using some stacking mod, pls let me know and I'll see what I can do.
DMS  [author] 5 Apr, 2018 @ 1:26pm
@Jigbea4834 sorry to hear you experiencing an issue with the mod. I'm trying to hunt down the bug right now, and will hopefully have an update ready soon.
chernobyldenier 2 Apr, 2018 @ 5:48pm
Yeah it happened again. I had 1 Crossbowmen on a Rova, and as soon as I clicked to move a 2nd one on a another Rova, it crashed. IDK if that's fixable, but it'd be really nice if it was! I'd like to have really good positioning for my war hehe
chernobyldenier 2 Apr, 2018 @ 5:40pm
I don't know if this happens to anyone else, but for some reason when I have more than 1 unit on a Rova, the game crashes. I'm testing to see if my game continues w/o having 2 units on the rova. I'll update soon...

Can be seen in the ArtDefines.sql file under Colors. The numbers there are the regular RGB colour codes divided by 255, so you'll have to multiply them yourself. :)
BansheeHowl 26 Dec, 2017 @ 5:49pm
Yeah I initially tried it through that website as well, but like you said, it doesn't work anymore sadly.
Thanks a ton for the link though, it's much appreciated!

@BansheeHowl, usually I recommend grabing the mod with steamworkshopdownloader. but apparently for some reason Steam isn't allowing that for Civ anymore.

Here´s a direct download link: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/c7dsnihc5nxrfpo/AAArFj7jyMCTfCCDc7CUj5Gsa?dl=0

I hope you'll enjoy the mod :)
BansheeHowl 20 Dec, 2017 @ 10:03am
I'm pretty sure I'm just a colossal retard, but I can't for the life of me figure out where I have to click or go for the direct download. I know I have to "click somewhere on the above infographic", but I can't find anything nor do I honestly know what you mean...

So forgive me for asking this stupid question, but... where do I have to click to do a direct download? Because I'm really lost, but would love to play your mod.

@Ufarios: That's Sukritact's Events & Decisions. It's linked in the description.

Looks awesome! Once I get my game working, i'm sure it'll be amazing, but question: what are the mods that you had on the game for the university council thing and such? Looks very intriguing :)
Slow 13 Dec, 2017 @ 7:49am
Looks interesting.
DMS  [author] 13 Dec, 2017 @ 5:26am
@Emperor Norton , @Samio , @ianandsue5 - thanks mates! I hope you'll enjoy it! We (Colonialist Legacies and myself) really did put a lot of work into this, so hoping it won't disappoint. Let me know what you think balance-wise if you get a chance to play with the civ :)
ianandsue5 12 Dec, 2017 @ 1:00am
Seeing this really brightened up my Day, DMS. It seems there are some great Mods out there yet to be released for Civ V. :steamhappy:
Samio 9 Dec, 2017 @ 7:41pm
Excellent idea for a civ, and excellent abilities like always. I remember there being a Malagasy civ playable on a mod for CIV IV ages ago, and being disappointed that nobody bothered with making this island nation playable. As someone who is really into forgotten realms like this I am heavily intrigued.
One of my favorite nations is actually the Comoros Islands, off the coast of Madagascar. Would be cool to see, but I'm not gonna shower you with requests because you did only just release this.
Good to see you're making mods still :)
Norton 9 Dec, 2017 @ 5:34pm
Madagascar? I thought you had disappeared.
DMS  [author] 9 Dec, 2017 @ 4:11pm
Thanks :D
