They are not invisible. They are fairly small and can be hidden under and around things. U can even place foundations on top of them if u so choose

The ini settings alone make this mod work for ANY type of server.... I know, I've got some nearly vanilla pvp servers and even a crazy 2000x pvp server with dinos with 10m HP and this mod stays balanced if I use the spreadsheet the mod author(BraizD) provides and adjust the ini settings he added accordingly. Top notch mod from a top notch author.

This mod is really cool. I enjoyed testing it and seeing all the features it added. The model and everything is truely unique. This guy put some serious work into this and it's very well polished and balanced.

The Tek Mine now has the option of either Percent damage or Base damage. Enjoy

To All, we will be adding a new INI feature to the tek mine. There has been a number of people confused with % damage applied. So in a few days, we will be adding INI features to the mine to allow server admins to choose from either % damage output or base damage output. The base damage will be the same as a Tek Grenade. The default will be % damage, to get the base damage output, you will need to include the INI setting for base damage output. More information will be provided upon release of the update.

Can you configue the mine to be set off by wild dino's such as nameless for example, or will they only work in pvp?

I like the snarky comments. You should get it to check from a URL or something so that you can add more without ever uploading the mod.

An idea here would be to have it read from a pastebin, then you can set a gameusersettings option "magicwordspastebin=" and have the user type in a pastebin url part.

If you wish, I can whitelist you on my server so you can see the odd glitch first hand, if you haven't encountered it. I'll also get you a modlist here soonish.

The mine has collision set, i will look at this tonight and roll out a fix ASAP. In our testing, we did not have any issues.
As for the random "snarky" comments, these are built into the mine. Currently there are about 15 of them and are random. The comment is set upon placement of the mine. These were added as a fun thing when the mine was first developed

By the way, where do you get the random words for mines anyway? Like "Run Forest Run"? Is it built in requiring an update? Or do you pull from an internet file of some sort? :P

Why is it when I place a mine, I can't walk over it, and people who do teleport under it then to the other side of it, and stuff? Its really bizarre how it acts. I'll look at the sheet in a few min, gotta reboot my server cause another update :P

As a user, when you put the shards into the inventory, the center window of the inventory will inform you of how many detonations the mine will have. It also has 2 quick buttons to select for damage output.
-For understanding how damage is calculated and shard usage, i would suggest downloading the spreadsheet that is supplied in the Admin section. The mine is based off this spreadsheet.
As for how it works: The damage progressively decreases with the shard usage. i.e. assuming max 1000 shards - after the first detonation, the mine will have 500 shards, then 250...etc. For the damage, it is interpolated between the max and min damage setting and how many shards you have in the inventory at detonation.
The mine was designed this way for balance, not make something too OP, and provide a way so it cant be abused as a troll mechanism.
Any further questions, after you have looked at the spreadsheet, i would be happy to answer. Or any suggestions.

I hope to see a server setting that allows us to specify how many detonations it can have and the percent that it drops per detonation. Or rather, the element that it uses per detonation. E.G. If the stack size is 1000 for shards, and I put 1000 in there, and set the mine to have 50 detonations in config files, I'd also set it to lose 20 shards per detonation. I'm not sure how the background code to this works, just throwing a thought out there before I subscribe and try it out.
