BUT... the mod is still great and worth playing despite that. Despite not being able to attack, the Caer still has health and protects units stationed on it. Plus, your own walls and the Saethwyr in particular will keep you plenty safe. The Caer is still very powerful with Llywelyn simply for the massive number of envoys you get, culture bombs, and protection for garrisoned units.

Re-found this mod the other day looks great, does it still work? This mod got me thinking what abilities would my Wales Civ have if I was a talented modder - I'm not :(
Here's what I came up with while dreaming/waking up on St. Davids day.
Owain Glyndwr (Rebellion and Diplomacy Vibe)
Cities gain +4 loyalty while in a defensive war
Lost Cities add +4 rebellion while in a defensive war
100% diplomacy gain while in a defensive war (1404 Treaty France etc.)
+2 Diplomacy for each lost City
+1 Faith per Diplomacy Point
+1 Diplomacy every second university (Was vocal on University importance)
Eisteddfod (Festival)
Better Cultutral Project/Ent Complex
Extra Writing/Musician poss cheaper maybe faith element
Caer (Castle) Land of Castles should be lots... so improvement.
Improvemt Only placed on Hills not Adjacent to another Caer
+4 Defense + 1 Food +2 Culture +1 Prod Longterm (1 Cul/1 Prod start poss)
Unlocked Castles? Poss too late...
all you range units have 6 range when in your border
It would be interesting to see something like the Samoa or Tonga. Or even a return of evryone's favourite Hawaiian : Kamehameha? I always thought a district on water would be very neat~
I am just wondering if anyone else has come across the following. In my last battle as Llywelyn, my saethwyrs and archers (inside home territory) were able to bombard an enemy city from four and five hexes away. Surely this is not intended. Probably due to some weird combination of mods that I have activated (though none with range-specific changes).
Also, I think Llywelyn looks like Sir Bedivere from Monty Python and the Hioly Grail, played by Terry Jones, who is of course Welsh.
Anyway, thanks again for a fun mod!
