Update pls

They changed how grass works in game guys. this may no longer be needed:

Totally reworked how plants grow; they now grow everywhere at once instead of reproducing plant-by-plant. Wild plants after several in-game years should now look more or less as good as at the beginning.

Build 19?
Nyx 7 May, 2018 @ 2:57pm
Noticed that after the first winter wiped out all the grass/plants on the map, it wasn't growing back. Uninstalled the mod, works fine. (Interestingly enough, the mod starts working again when used WITH the Fertile Planet mod.)
Alstorp 19 Apr, 2018 @ 4:50pm
Mod broken, makes no grass spawn at all
sidfu1 30 Mar, 2018 @ 9:41pm
fyi mods like this while nice can hit your system big as it has to track every grass on map. its not the mod itself that will cause u performance issues its the processing power needed for it.
nada 20 Mar, 2018 @ 5:37pm
using wild animal sex and biome, this mod breaks the game. no animal or grass spawns and game truly becomes unplayable
Kulfyr3 28 Feb, 2018 @ 9:26am
How did you make this happen? i'm trying to make it even faster
neko587 27 Feb, 2018 @ 10:22am
@arrmoredstone Colonist planted plants cant regrow or spread
ArmoredStone 25 Feb, 2018 @ 6:10pm
So i don't know if it's this mod or another one conflicting with it, but it doesn't look like any grass is growing for me now. I even planted my own just to try to get it to spread and I didn't see any seeds spreading at all after they reached 100%
Vlad 25 Feb, 2018 @ 1:07am
@Bloky555 those mods shouldn't conflict, so it doesn't matter which goes last. Personally however I would make it grass->EPOE->complex jobs just in case.
MockMicrobe 30 Jan, 2018 @ 2:07pm
This is vital for a colony on the tundra. It keeps my muffalo and caribou fed during the summer, letting me build up hay stocks for the long fall/winter/spring.
TheKnightXavier 26 Jan, 2018 @ 5:27pm
Will this break my save if I already have mods installed? Does it conflict with any other mods?
KingOfHaphazard 22 Jan, 2018 @ 12:21am
You have saved my bovine army from starvation, thank you.
Bloky555 13 Jan, 2018 @ 11:27am
If I have multiple mods that should be loaded last (EPOE, Complex Jobs, and eventually this one), which should I load last?
CyberFerret 11 Jan, 2018 @ 9:25pm
Does this affect FPS epescially with the waving fauna?
Emperor Cheesius Secundus 28 Dec, 2017 @ 5:06pm
well this makes fire weapons more useful, tank you.
Limp Bisquick 19 Dec, 2017 @ 8:51pm
Thank you! :)

Love that one
Kurgis 17 Dec, 2017 @ 11:06am
Life saving mod - got really tired of looking at barren lands all the time - nice job.
battlemad 17 Dec, 2017 @ 11:03am
thanks for the answers, i was guessing that it didn't work on existing saves or that climatize plants conflicted in my current game. i'll try a fresh game in the same biome and see how it responds.
kaptain_kavern  [author] 17 Dec, 2017 @ 8:19am
@battlemad

1- Yes. But only grass grown after mod activation will have the mod changes
2- Nope, but it's an XML file like most mods, you could edit/tweak it
3- I suppose not, this mod is very very simple. In this case, having mine loaded last in mod order should suffice to retain functionality from the other mod + rapid growing grass

@ Rainbeau I really think it can ;-D
E-Claire 17 Dec, 2017 @ 8:00am
It was pointed out to me on my "Wild Cultivation" page that in swamp biomes with fast tree growth, it's possible for a map to eventually end up with nothing but trees, since as grass patches are eaten by animals they often get replaced by trees instead of by more grass. Am I correct in thinking that this mod would help to counter that problem?
battlemad 17 Dec, 2017 @ 6:21am
Three questions:
1.) Does it work on existing save?
2.) Will the mod have any settings inside or outside the game that can be tweaked?
3.) Does it conflict with any other mods that change grass such as Climatize Plants?

Mods a great idea thanks for the work.

@puelleanimata i reccomend a very strong antiseptic cream to apply to that burn. dont want to get an infection!
Myke 16 Dec, 2017 @ 11:08am
Pretty neat, now herds wont need 90% of the map to survive without hay
stultz144 16 Dec, 2017 @ 8:33am
awesome now my colonists dont have to live in the barrens
Artro 16 Dec, 2017 @ 8:28am
@Puellae that is unrealistic
Cisarulana 16 Dec, 2017 @ 7:23am
I dont have a lawn @Alurit
Alurit 16 Dec, 2017 @ 6:00am
@Puellae animata realistic would be the the snow coverage protecting some plats from dying, while others go to hybernating. I mean your lawn survives winter doesn't it?
kaptain_kavern  [author] 16 Dec, 2017 @ 5:46am
You mean compared to mechanoids, boomrats and resurection serum?
Cisarulana 16 Dec, 2017 @ 4:50am
Is it realistic though...?
schmandweg 16 Dec, 2017 @ 3:31am
nice mod thank you
fizz 16 Dec, 2017 @ 3:24am

Good mod tho fr, I can't stand those huge bare patches of ugly brown. :content:
Papa DjoDjo 16 Dec, 2017 @ 2:32am
