Any way to get this mod to work with the current version of the game?
mchalefamily 6 Jul, 2020 @ 3:54pm
Would you be able to update this mod? It would be pretty cool to have the elector counts and the offices at the same time.

Is this mod save game compatible? I might have missed it. Thank you

I am not sure if I am a fan of the Huntsmarshal. In the lore, it seems to be one of the lesser offices relative to the others, and it is held by a Special Character who is in fact a Hero, not a Lord.

Otherwise, this seems like a very balanced and loreful mod!

Thanks for the mindful approach to modding instead of giving in to people who just want OP mods (and op mods right this second, mind you!). Way too many OP units and items and heroes, it's nice being able to find some things that go for balance.

Annnnd I'm dumb. I had a previous mod that added 'Menagerie' as a separate building from the stables chain and was looking for that when I just needed stables tier IV. Ignore me. I'll let myself out.

@ajwells31 Its not really an interesting choice at the moment. Well, its actually not a choice at all, so I would simply be buffing Karl Franz and the mod itself is already a large buff to the Empire. I am trying to show that the power of all the other members flows from access to the Emperor's authority, so the buff to the Emperor is that he can create these powerful servants.
ajwells31 13 Jun, 2018 @ 9:11pm
The Emperor ability needs major improvements!

Che3zberG, how about you read the mod? Balthasar Gelt is already the Supreme Patriarch of the Empire so you can't assign him a new office.
Yarrick 21 Feb, 2018 @ 6:28am
Hello! your works are fantastic! to create the inquisition with the inquisitors that reduce corruption and things like that would be fantastic!
Sadge 15 Feb, 2018 @ 6:03am
Love the mod. There is a formatting error on the arch lector palatine description. There is a line break between "vampire counts" and " or greenskins" just before the space.

@ Crazyivan no idea, SFO changes more than I would want to look at. Give it a test
Crazyivan 19 Jan, 2018 @ 3:12am
Would this be compatible with SFO

Could you increase the army leadership buff of Emperor from 2 to 5? I think the vanilla value is too underwhelming.
Enterler 16 Dec, 2017 @ 11:35am
Ah I see. Perhaps you’re right. Here’s the mod.

@Enterler I think adding additional offices would look unprofessional because of the lack of supporting artwork, but I have never played with it. If you have a link to this mod I'll look at it.
Enterler 15 Dec, 2017 @ 7:03pm
Let me ask a follow up then. I recall a mod on the TWW workshop that added offices to the vampire counts. These office panel had more offices on it than the empire one by a few. So my question is this. Would it be possible to add two additional offices that are prefilled by Gelt and Volkmar, in a way similar to how the Emperor has to be Karl Franz? That way you avoid having anyone else taking their office, while still granting them a title and small bonus for their prestige.
Iron  [author] 15 Dec, 2017 @ 7:25am
@[c.B] Lionel23 There are no Wizard Lords currently. I wish it were otherwise. Talk to CA.
Lionel23 15 Dec, 2017 @ 4:08am
Regardless, you're removing one of the few Winds of Magic bonuses in the game for Empire, who relies heavily on wizard lords. Unless you throw it onto the 'Emperor' as a faction-wide bonus, I will personally not use your mod and that is why.
General Hawk 13 Dec, 2017 @ 4:12pm
this is great work!
Iron  [author] 13 Dec, 2017 @ 3:18pm
Haha, that is frustrating about the character limit. I never knew that. The naming effect applied by an office seems no different than other effects or traits, but I have never tried to change a lord's starting traits and do not know how.
Enterler 12 Dec, 2017 @ 10:09pm
I appreciate your explanation for why you aren't adding Supreme Patriarch and Grand Theogonist, but at the same time, I can't add those titles to Gelt or Volkmar due to in-game character limits. So, I'm curious, would it be possible to add a skill to each of them that gives them their title? Understand that it's likely beyond the scope of this mod, but I am curious if it is plausible.
Iron  [author] 12 Dec, 2017 @ 8:34pm
I added some design notes on the effects of the offices above. Of course it's all abstract, but maybe it will help some of you people's immersion.

@Delicious, I like the idea of Witch Hunter General, but I feel like a Witch Hunter General would be a title enitrely within the Templars, and not appointed by the Emperor and not part of his court.

@The Popess, @Coffeecofee, the Reiksmarshal is far more than a cavalry captain, and I want the offices to each have a few different applications within an overall theme, so that the player has some strategic choice on how best to use each character at a given time, instead of having one obvious best use at all times.
Rachel L 12 Dec, 2017 @ 2:58pm
I ageee with Coffeecoffe. Reiksmarshall shouldnt get bonuses for non cav units.
Arch elector should get bonuses for the fanatic guys (i forgot their names) and the priest heroes
Also, is the Palatine necessary in the name? It seems weird.
Castellan engineer should get bonuses to siege holdout time, better artiliary and maybe reduction in construction time too
Coffeecoffee 12 Dec, 2017 @ 2:33pm
Looks interesting. I like that the offices are unlocked via buildings.
Some offices seem too strong and a bit unfocused though.
Some thoughts:
Castellan-Engineer: I don't feels the additional ranks for greatswords and state troops fit there. Maybe a stronger focus on artillery would be better?

Warden of the Rivers: I like the concept of "ok this guy protects our most profitable province". The -5% recruitment cost seem a bit random though. The bonus relationships with empire provinces don't fit into this kind of system imo.

Arch Lector Paletine: Don't like the -5% upkeep and improved relationship with empire provinces.

Reiksmarshall: Seems too strong. I'd prefer the focus on cav without most of the other buffs.

Lord Inquisitor and Huntsmarshall: Looks great, nice job!
EyeBags.On.Fleek 12 Dec, 2017 @ 7:13am
Awesome job, these title seem much more appropriate than the vanilla version. May I humbly suggest Witch Hunter General as s title rather than Lord Inquvisitor?
Xenos 11 Dec, 2017 @ 7:00pm
Good work, it's the most reasonable take on imperial offices i've seen on the workshop.
Iron  [author] 11 Dec, 2017 @ 5:56pm
Effects are in the screenshots
Rachel L 11 Dec, 2017 @ 5:53pm
Well, in wh1 there were mods that added wizard lords, not sure if there is any for wh2 tough.
Also, have you changed any effect? If yes, can you make a post with the changes?
Iron  [author] 11 Dec, 2017 @ 5:45pm
When there are Wizard Lord generals, a Court Patriarch title will be great. Unfortunately, there is only Mr. Gelt. A Supreme Patriarch title will always by rediculous when Gelt is in the game.
Iron  [author] 11 Dec, 2017 @ 5:42pm
You are confused, Sir, What is unloreful is having the Emperor appoint a Grand Theogonist or a Surpreme Patriarch. What is furthermore unloreful is having these roles available to be filled by random generals and Arch-Lectors. How can you stand to have Balthasar Gelt keep saying "I am the Supreme Patriarch to your face, when you have chosen Arch-Lector Phillip to be the Supreme Patriarch despite the fact that having an Arch-Lector Supreme Patriarch is absurd? How do you sleep at night?

Of course, we could ignore all that and add these offices and restrict them to those two characters, but what kind of lame mechanic would we have then? One with no choice and no agency.
Lionel23 11 Dec, 2017 @ 5:42pm
Yeah, that's the first thing I noted was the lack of the Supreme Patriarch title, none of these titles have any benefit to someone who uses the Winds of Magic, which Empire relies on heavily for all its colleges of magic.
Renan 11 Dec, 2017 @ 5:26pm
Hmmmm, where is the Supreme Patriarch and Grand theogonist, thumbs down for this unloreful mod
