I've made a new version of this mod for 1.5
Changed some recipes and added another for x200 Plasteel for late game. Check it out.

Use the mod 'Make Anything Craftable' to edit anything about recipe cost, which bench you craft them, etc

Not sure if this mod is being supported anymore but adding the '25 plasteel' into the recipe name would be good,
currently it just says 'Make plasteel' with the Description 'Craft plasteel from chemfuel and steel.',
nothing says the amount it makes besides this steam page

Is there anyway to put this on the fabrication bench instead. or a separate version where this if only available after you have unlocked fabrication?

Nevermind I found it under the "Biofuel refinery". Not sure if a mod I use has renamed that or if this needs an updated description?

Which refinery is this made in? Description says chemfuel refinery but I can't find anything called that. I've done the research and bills show in machining table but I can't seem to find anything called a chemfuel refinery?

Does this mod work with a previously saved game? I've installed it but no bills appear at the Matching table, in any of the benches for that matter? I've added Industrial Components and that works fine? any help greatly appreciated.....

It looks like it's showing up as a cooking recipe in the Biofuel Refiner. Shouldn't this be a crafting job? My pawns won't refine plasteel if they are set to crafting, but will if they are set to cooking.

So I think what's happening is that it's in the exact same spot other mods are putting research and it's overlapping. I offset the position for the research so that it's much less likely to be the same as what another mod uses.

so i came because i too can't research it...or more like when i click on the Plasteel, it shows the "Tactical Grenades" and its already researched....guessing either this needs a clean save, or its a conflict with another mod....probs one of the enchanced weaponry......since i think tactical grenades comes from there.............anyone knows a way of getting the resarch from dev mode?

I too am having an issue with the research not appearing, though like @Echo I'm pretty heavily modded as well. I'll do some testing with a relatively vanilla setting and your mod as well and see if that helps.

I'm running a very heavily modded 1.0. I resorted to using a pre-update backup of your mod.
As others appear to be fine I guess it's just my setup acting up.

Can confirm, the update does not work on existing saves.

Even though I'm sure that alone won't help:

Hmm, seems fine for me. It shows up under Gas Operation and needs Bio Fuel and Machining to start.

The recipe's are there for the refinery when all I load is this mod and the core game, so if you're not seeing it then chances are another mod is changing the refinery or removing the recipe.

One thing of interest, is it intended that the crafter requires 10 cooking and 3 crafting but then uses the intellectual skill when working?
