I guess the blueprints don't give any help with the wiring. You can use whatever colors and connections you want but I will explain what I did. There are 4 separate logic circuits (each with a inverter, logic gate, and delay) that make the lights flash and I used one for each color of lightbulb. Each circuit is wired as follows:
Switch -> Inverter -> Logic Gate set to NOR -> Delay Gate -> Lights and 2nd NOR input
I have the Delay Gates set as follows:
Blue 0
Red 0.5
Yellow 0
Green 1
