HAving problems with the stock piles.
Cause ppl go there, put ressources into it, but the ressources pop out of the pile on the ground.
So ppl get these ressources, put them back into the pile. and thing happens from beginning.

Apologies! Browsing on my phone and I think I accidentally tagged someone’s comment. I have pressed undo so hopefully nothing bad will happen!

@hotbread100, thanks for the feedback, unfortunately the game or modkit cannot not do something like that. I can of course make bigger models with footprints, but you may as well just use a normal stockpile for that.
In terms of the notification about low storage that is because there must not be an overall combined large enough amount of stock pile storage available, this is automatically calculated by the game and we have no way of altering this. These piles allow 300 capacity by weight per 1x1 tile (vanilla stockpile only offers 250 per tile), it is important to note that this is capacity by weight... the piles will fast fill up as resources have different weights: Logs weigh 11 each, Stone 15 each, Iron 25, Coal 15, Firewood 4.

i tried it out and dont really like it, the small storage of one pile kept causing a spam of "wood, stone or iron storage pile is almost full" when the pile was about half way full, maybe make a way for if you place 1x1 piles in a 3x3 it would keep their unique models but combine inventory? that is if the game has the ability to even do that

No this mod does not replace the vanilla stockpile models. The other mod, similarly named: 'Better Stock Piles' will do that. This simply adds plop-able 1x1 storage places using these models. So is this what you are asking for a separate pile? :)

this overwrites, replaces, the default stock pile, right? (if so,) can this be a separate type of pile?)
