Enhanced Cities: Fire Hurts

This would be great if it only hurt the player, but I'm getting tired of having to resurrect NPCs who die from standing next to fires in taverns.

Would not recommend, neat idea but it ends up killing NPCs when they try to use cooking pots.

It seems skyrim likes my mixtape...
Paul 14 Oct, 2015 @ 11:25pm
you ask for donations for such a small mod with only two cities completed ? i don't know if i'm gonna vomit or...vomit...
kev88krw 23 Feb, 2015 @ 4:07pm
the problem with this mod is that NPCs will die too.
Balthias 4 Nov, 2014 @ 5:14am
I like this. Its the little details that shouldve already been added but the makers were too lazy to put in. Rated up :)
NaughtiusMaximus 16 Mar, 2014 @ 1:53am
lol while it makes sense that fire should hurt you it's a pretty needless and pointless mod. Seriously I would just assume not have my champion walk into a fire pit and never have to worry about the unrealistic fact that you don't get hurt if you do. I can just pretend that if i did it would hurt. Especially since you don't want to clutter your game with mods because one of them or more might end of being a problem and then it's more of a pain to figure out which mod is giving you trouble.
Necro Liquid Flesh 4 Mar, 2014 @ 5:56pm
Can you add the forge pits to hurt you too? It sucks when you can stand in side the sky forge fire pit and nothing happens.
ThatLocalArabicCamel 21 Feb, 2014 @ 8:59pm
how is this a city.
Tiradentes 15 Feb, 2014 @ 9:14pm
just a little bit more realism, works perfectly, thank you! rated up.
Jarrod 20 Oct, 2013 @ 12:10pm
I believe there's a reason the fires in towns don't do any damage.. So when NPCs walk over them, they don't die because of it..
Minimonster 17 Jul, 2013 @ 10:48am
ahah oui l'orthographe est mieux merci
matthieu6839  [author] 17 Jul, 2013 @ 10:45am

Minimonster 17 Jul, 2013 @ 8:56am

Minimonster 17 Jul, 2013 @ 8:55am

I'm having what seems to be a common problem which is npc's walkig into the fires and killing them. Anyone have an idea as to how to stop it?
Wombpuncher 22 Jun, 2013 @ 7:50am
I AM DOVAKIN FIRE DOES NOT HURT ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MrMeows 2 May, 2013 @ 8:48pm
The fire isn't deadly enough. At least for me, it only deals a few damage per second and would take almost a minute to kill me. It should deal more like 33 damage per second. However, it sounds like the mod is killing a lot of NPCs, so I wouldn't mind if it hardly dealt any damage to NPCs. They don't walk into fire very often anyway. Also, it would be nice if the fire was deadly everywhere, not just in cities.
Alaric the Visgoth 31 Mar, 2013 @ 7:33pm
loved this mod. But had to uninstall because the dumb @$$ LIAT tavern generated patrons kept self combusting themselves every time I visited a tavern.

Hysterical to watch but got tired of cheating with the resurrect cheat. Great mod though! :)
Paladin 16 Mar, 2013 @ 10:31am
Not all fires seem to hurt in cities or other places. Could this be fixed?
Mister Molecule 16 Feb, 2013 @ 11:52am
Aww, poor Fralia Grey-mane roasted herself alive, said something funny, then died
jjb-54 14 Feb, 2013 @ 1:17pm
@ Mod & Detenal - Yes I found the same thing - no fire, but could be one w/upgrades - even though not there - you get burned. I also notice if you sit in some chairs in Inn's - Jarl's - homes - next to fire you get 'burned' ... I think some adjustments need to be made.
Drecasi 13 Feb, 2013 @ 2:40pm
I just bought my house in Whiterun. There is no fire yet, but my character still catches fire when I walk over that area.
matthieu6839  [author] 9 Feb, 2013 @ 11:38pm
@dasheroo : I don't know. It is never good to delete a mod: that can corrupt your save but I cannot do anything
Dasheroo 9 Feb, 2013 @ 10:54pm
i installed this and it was fine, then i noticed the flames where weirdly small so i removed the mod cause i dont walk in fire anyways :P, but then the next time i tried to load my save everything was corrupt, all my gear was gone, i got the notices you get when you start the game and i was lvl 1... sooo.... wtf?
matthieu6839  [author] 8 Feb, 2013 @ 11:59am
no they are just compatible but no dawnguard is not required
Darkly 8 Feb, 2013 @ 11:44am
wait does being compatible with dawnguard mean that it requires dawnguard?
Acierate 3 Feb, 2013 @ 7:54pm
You can now take it like a man! Attack, even if your hand kinda hurts!

PotatoTheorem 29 Jan, 2013 @ 3:23pm
Dude I have to say, you and Aplestormy are amazing I hope this series of mods never ends and continues on into the next Elder Scrolls!!
Emma-B-Doodlen 29 Jan, 2013 @ 2:09pm
you know the first time i played skyrim i was like "oh Shiet! im about to sprint into the dang fire" i was already preping to like heal then i stepped into the fire and was somehow dissapointed so this will make me happy if it has bugs i'll tell you tho
masterrs 29 Jan, 2013 @ 9:10am
Hello. Breezehome fire doesn't hurt so far. I will raport more "bugs" if I find. Good job, great mod.
Orpheus 28 Jan, 2013 @ 11:13pm
TBH, Snaux they should bring back fire damage just make it so Essentail
NPC's dont die. Because in real life if a stupid person walked in fire that retard would die ;D
Hollow_Fang 28 Jan, 2013 @ 12:59am
Fire Hot! is the name of my mod on here. Sooo i don't know if you got the things i missed but were you able to find a way to get the small cooking pots and randomly generated fires such as in mods as FROSTFALL that's on the nexus to light up with out setting npc's on fire ?
Ovenborn 27 Jan, 2013 @ 8:48pm
Can you make some story tellers in the inns?
Kavvan Shrike 27 Jan, 2013 @ 8:26pm
I'm probably still gonna level my restoration and armour skills with mudcrabs anyway

@Snaux: I agree completely. Loved Oblivion for all the difficulty, and puzzles in it.
