Yup, the patterns look pretty, but you have to be increasingly careful about how you place those bonds -- that's the underlying mechanical theme of these puzzles so far. The convenient flavor text is a nice bonus.

Keep at it, and good luck!

Hoo. Yeah... I can see why nobody has managed to do the rest yet. I'm stuck on #3 ... I almost have it, I think! Almost!

I already have follow-up puzzles in mind, but I'm going to wait a bit and give folks a chance to solve this batch before continuing to post more. As far as I can tell from the histograms, only 4 others have solved #01, and 2 have completed #02. No one (besides myself) has managed to do the rest yet.

For now, if you're interested in non-fire atoms being triplex bonded, take a look at my other collection, Triplex Trouble !

This is a cool series. I'll be trying out the puzzles in it soon! But I know we can go hotter still - this flame would go out quickly without a constant supply of oxygen. Which we all know is made of air atoms.

Which can be joined by triplex bonds too - with a calcination and duplication, that is.

So you can make a simple Blast Flame with 3 fire and 1 air for puzzle... 6?, and then use that theory to upgrade the dragon's fire further. :P
