Oh man, so there is no point to me downloading a bunch of mods right now! Thanks for the warning. :D

Turns out modders can't mod DE for another week. It's in beta still and only a few have access to the tools
Gumnut 3 Sep, 2018 @ 4:06am
::steamsad: ..............Thanks for giving it a go....... I hope you dont give up on it but I understand if you need to take your time
SimranZenov  [author] 2 Sep, 2018 @ 8:18am
It may take some time to update. Switching the engine to point at DE keeps causing the engine to crash. I tried reinstalling and reassigning to DE, but no luck. I have some weird compatibility issue I think.
Gumnut 2 Sep, 2018 @ 6:40am
That would be awesome :steamhappy:
SimranZenov  [author] 2 Sep, 2018 @ 6:30am
Even though I lost all my files, this was a fairly small simple script, and I have a copy of this script on google docs. I'll update this for DE.
Gumnut 2 Sep, 2018 @ 1:18am
I hope this gets updated to Definitive Edition........ It irks me when I decanter my bottle into another one and it disappears
Plumchild 31 Aug, 2018 @ 11:02am
Will this be upated to definitive addition?
Hongdon 2 Aug, 2018 @ 1:27am
Great !!! thank you:praisesun:

Awesome mod, maybe a little OP if you're Undead since you combining any empty bottle with the poison barrel gets you a poison potion. Chug, craft, chug, craft, chug, craft, chug... :Grineer:
Meta Vakama 4 Jul, 2018 @ 3:56pm
@SimranZenov
That's fair.
I recently discovered that the Crafting Overhaul adds recipes for medium/large potions that don't need multiple bottles, so it isn't a major loss.
SimranZenov  [author] 4 Jul, 2018 @ 7:15am
@Meta Vakama
Outputting multiple bottles per consumed item I think would get some complaints, and many would think it's a bug (I rather avoid that route)

I decided to see if I could find a workaround for it, but there doesn't seem to be an event available to modders for catching a general 'consume' event, or a general 'item used'. There is 'CharacterUsedItem' and 'CharacterConsume' event, but both rely on a character consuming an item and doesn't link to the crafting. I don't see any item crafting events either. There is an 'ItemDestroyed' event, but that may be called in other cases where items are destroyed and not necessarily consumed or used. So I guess there's no way to know what items were actually consumed during crafting and whether those items were successful in creating something.
Meta Vakama 3 Jul, 2018 @ 11:16pm
Since this mod doesn't save bottles when crafting, why don't you just make potions that cost multiple bottles to craft drop multiple bottles when consumed?
It wouldn't be as realistic, but it would keep the bottles from disappearing into the aether.
Testerosity 28 Jun, 2018 @ 9:59pm
This makes so much sense to have. :steamhappy:

@☮MrMacMikkel
I'm not sure what happens for crafting/combining. It listens for the event "CharacterUsedItem", so it's unlikely to work with crafting.
Infamous Mike 3 Jun, 2018 @ 11:37am
How about when you combine two potions to make one of greater grade? Do you still throw one of the bottles in the ground, or do you keep the empty bottle when you pured?
ZWattage 20 May, 2018 @ 4:15am
Great mod, thanks.
Merogie 15 May, 2018 @ 7:05pm
jars of honey dont return the jar
Khaesho 28 Apr, 2018 @ 1:21am
@Angel of Hope
No, you have to EAT THE GLASS BOTTLE as part of the potion. Doesn'theal you otherwise.
aaronsven 1 Apr, 2018 @ 5:15am
easy to use
♥ Momma Angel ♥ 27 Mar, 2018 @ 10:18am
I do believe this is the most logical mod for this game... I mean, cups and bottles do not simply disappear after you use them... so this mod just makes sense. I'm not sure why it wasn't programmed into the game. Thank you for this mod!
yuhblubluhyuh 24 Mar, 2018 @ 12:04am
Can't seem to get it to work. I subscribed, it's in my game files, yet nothing is added to my inventory after i drink a potion. Help?
Kario 9 Feb, 2018 @ 11:01pm
Does this work with jars too?
SirAtomos 23 Jan, 2018 @ 10:06am
Could you please upload to nexus as well?
AshTheObscure 23 Jan, 2018 @ 3:44am
Would it be possible to make this functionality work for combining potions too?
Norwegian Forest 6 Jan, 2018 @ 10:28pm
very good
Silence Suzuka 29 Dec, 2017 @ 11:08am
I love this mod.
47Haven 20 Dec, 2017 @ 6:36am
Yes, i think that might just be the cause.

I finally got it to work by the way, by disabling the mod, loading the game, saving the game, then enabling the mod again.

So if anyone else got this problem, try this solution.

Thanks for the reply btw, SimranZenov
SimranZenov  [author] 20 Dec, 2017 @ 4:10am
@47Haven
I wonder if it's because I had changed the mod name. That's the only thing I can think of that might have caused an issue. I'll have to be careful not to do that again :/
47Haven 19 Dec, 2017 @ 8:40pm
Yeah, updates on it, apparently the mod works fine

Made a new game on another profile, and started re-enabling mods to find out which causes the problem, starting from only this mod. Apparently, it doesn't conflicts with any of the other mod. I enabled all the mods, and it still works fine.

However, once i got back to my main profile, unabled all of the mods, except for this one, and checked it, it doesn't work.

I guess the cause would be the save file? Dunno how it happened, since i distinctly remember it working the first time around, before the update, and now it's not.
SimranZenov  [author] 19 Dec, 2017 @ 8:25pm
@47Haven
Maybe you can try deleting the mod completely from Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2\Mods then try re-subbing to download again. Maybe the file is corrupt somehow.

I'm not really sure why it wouldn't be compatible with all mods since it doesn't modify or override anything :/
47Haven 19 Dec, 2017 @ 7:38pm
Yeah, don't know what happened, but i've tried loading this mods first, last, and between Better Alchemy and Crafting Overhaul, the two mod that i thought would mess with the script, since it is another mod dealing with items, but it's still not loading

Gonna try experimenting some more with the load order. If only the load time wouldn't be abnormally long i would check it one by one
Very Upset 19 Dec, 2017 @ 1:29pm
Never mind; I found a workaround. For some reason I suddenly couldn't sub or unsub mods from the mod folder for this game, but I managed to find them in the workshop folder and drag them over. Thanks for the mod; major quality of life boost.
Very Upset 19 Dec, 2017 @ 12:43pm
Very odd. Once I added this, Workshop doesn't sub or unsub any mods from the mod folder. I have to add and remove them manually. You wouldn't happen to have a nexus version of this, would you?
SimranZenov  [author] 19 Dec, 2017 @ 3:50am
@Dental Plan
nope, it should appear on the list
Very Upset 19 Dec, 2017 @ 1:16am
Can't seem to find this on my in-game mod list. Is it automatically activated?
BUGGALUGGS 18 Dec, 2017 @ 7:44pm
thnak you very much
SimranZenov  [author] 18 Dec, 2017 @ 7:18pm
@_WOE_
Yep. It should include all poison potions, as well as posioned drinks
BUGGALUGGS 18 Dec, 2017 @ 7:10pm
does this work with poison too? we are running an all undead campaign for the fun and need that kind of heal potions
FR1GHT 18 Dec, 2017 @ 3:49pm
Not sure why this wasn't a default part of the game. Thanks for this
SimranZenov  [author] 18 Dec, 2017 @ 2:35pm
@47Haven
The load order shouldn't matter. It has its own global script which is the entire mod. There shouldn't be any conflicts with other mods. I would assume if it wasn't working I would have heard more complaints.
My only guess would be maybe another mod isn't compiling and is causing all the mods loaded afterward to not get loaded.
If you start a new game with just this mod enabled does it work? or place it first in your load order?
47Haven 18 Dec, 2017 @ 7:49am
Btw, what about the load order? I can't seem to get it working after the last update. Loaded it pretty much the end of the list
=BS= Jarno 18 Dec, 2017 @ 5:31am
i didnt think about it until i saw this mod, but this makes so much sence :D

Could you make this compatible with GM Mode? Thanks! :)
Pendragon9123 16 Dec, 2017 @ 11:22pm
I dont use any other mods then this one. It just makes to mutch sense
