when this was published back in Jan last year the tags worked properly, since TS2014 they have been broken, I'm not going to go through all my old scenarios changing the text just because DTG are too lazy to fix the tagging system ... regardless whay would you think a blue era L2B scenario would not utilise 4 CIGs, you dont need tags for that its just obvious a scenario on this route in this era would need them otherwise there would be hardly any traffic.

it helps if you mention that this scenario requires the class 421...

If RSC ever fix L2Bs SBHH in editor problem i may well make an all stops tight schedule run for the whole route to celebrate, cant imagine it will be soon though.

@Woodman, yeh it is a bit fiendish, it took me about three goes before i got it right, its aytipical of my other scenarios which generally have relisitic timings, I just wanted to make a scenario for myself that required driving agressively ... Ironicly its not the accelleration thats the problem its the top end speed, when I first set the secenario out the CIG handled it quite well and made the run quite relaxed even though it accellerated slower than the 455.

I really like this scenario,it's frustrating trying to keep to the scedule,I still have'nt managed it,missed out by one station stop. That 455 takes so long to get up speed, you're just urging it on. I see below someones managed to complete it,god knows howt they did it! It'd be fun to go all the way to Vicoria in a 455 calling at all stations with tight timings, you'de be ripping your hair out.

Great job. Well done!

nice and tight,the455 is lacking in top speed but is still fun to drive hard. thanks...........

Very good little scenario using this loco more often would be good all round. I found I could make the timings ok. Well done. Barbelblutack

yeh is goes into the headshunt by the tunnel and back, i put it there for something to be happening while the player waits for the passing Sussex scot, I never asked the driver what he was doing, he is probably testing the breaks before heading over to Ardingly to pick up some wagons

Very nice scenario, thank you for this new version.

A little question: at Haywards, a Class47 go to tunnel entry then returns: in real life, what is it ?

OK

haha ... sweating a bit to get to your destination on time is invigorating.

An on-time arrival into Brighton is definitely doable...until I got mesmerized by your static consists and the AWS kicked in. :P

Now that you mention it, I can recall the mention of a 4CIG timetable the first time you uploaded this. I'll definitely give this scenario a spin again now that I know the context, and I'll enjoy it far more.
MaTT  [author] 28 Jan, 2013 @ 1:42pm
I orginally made this scenario for a 4CIG, and i had converted it for personal use using a 4EPB the switch to 455 was for workshop, when i first published this I compensated for the low top end speed by using two power cars and thus better accelleration, this time i thought meh, the 455 is unsuitable for this duty ill make sticking to the schedule hard just like it would be if it was used as a replacement in RL, even though it requires driving well into the recovery margin its still possible to finish on time even if a few stops come in a minute or so late.

Good scenario, great to take in the views from a 455 which has better visibility than a 377 or 421. Really liked the placement of static consists. The extremely tight timetable broke my immersion somewhat but still liked.
