I thought there was going to be a notification when I found the cache so I ended up clearing the entire map. Other than that, good mission.

When I spawn, my team are not under my command and we are on the side of a mounain instead of in any kind of FOB like FARP winchester

nvm my first question sorry

i am unable to rearm the MRAP for some reason? i pull up to the rearm area but the .50 cal ammop doesnt fill back up

There are many possible locations for the cache, and some of them are quite well hidden. My advice is to capture and question a civilian multiple times until you have a lot of markers to help you find it. The closest markers are within 50m of the cache, good luck :)

I killed all the enemies and searched the whole scene and did not find the box with weapons. Could someone give me a hint where she is?

Interesting, so when you defuse the IED it is your friendly AI that freezes? I'll run some tests and try to replicate the error message. Do you have any other mods loaded?

About IED. I found IED, selecte defuse the mine, and AI freezes. (under that AI became message "vertical speed %". I first time see that type of message.

The IEDs can only be defused once identified (marked) by a Mine Detector or the Explosive Specialist, plus you'll need a Toolkit and the Explosive Specialist trait to defuse them. They can also be detonated from a distance with regular bullets or explosives.

All the IEDs should be defusable if the conditions above are met. As for enemies, the randomness of the spawns does mean it can sometimes seem to easy. If you want a harder challenge, the Coop version of this mission has a higher enemy spawn ratio, so more stuff to kill ;)

just got finished playing the mission. Id give it a 5/5 and my only complaints is that it is not supported by ace and that its not coop. Best mission ive played in awhile.

@Nomad 420 I was ambushed later on by the southwest side of the AO on the hill, i only had a couple of insurgents shooting me when i left the FARP to clarify. Thank you for keeping up all the hard work, I love your missions and hope you make more!

The AI seem to have more difficulty navigating older ported ArmA 2 maps like Aliabad. If they're ever really stuck or acting stupid, all squadmates are playable so you can quickly switch units and help them out.
I've uploaded a separate Coop compatible version of this mission for 1-6 players, I wanted to keep this version SP only as some features don't work well in MP.

Thanks for the insight, I usually have few friendly AI as large groups tend to be unreliable, plus I'm on a laptop. I've added two additional squadmates and updated the AI's skill, so you should be able to rely on them a little more.
Could you specify how late into the mission you got ambushed by the 10+ insurgents, as there are scripted ambushes but they shouldn't occur at the mission start or near the FARP.

great idea for a mission however there are some things that id deffidently change. The first would be that a four man team set with that task of search and destroying an ammo cashe (as well as the side quest) is way to small and ruined the milsim aspect for me as soon as my gunner on the MRAP was shot in the head after leaving the FARP (within 100 yards of it) and then again when me and the other two Marines i was with were ambushed on a hill from behind (by a group of 10ish insurgents) that resulted in another Marine being killed. Overall id give this mission a 2/5 because of the lack of manpower, however if there is a way to add in more friendly AI to fight along side all of my complaints would be gone and i could see myself easily giving this a 5/5.

Good mission. I liked the base layout, good ambience.
At one point, one of my AI got stuck in a building, but that's not on you.
Would it be that hard to convert to 4 player COOP? It'd be fun to play with some friends.
