@otsukaharumi I've been using this for years and never had a crash, then today, testing my mods to determine their load time, I tried this mod by itself and my game crashed every time. But when I tried it with at least one other mod above it, my game loaded fine. Was very strange...

How long can creatures and items sit in the altar before being destroyed? I'm about to have to leave some transferred dinos overnight because I didn't anticipate it taking too long to load a world for me to have time before bed.

only thing I can think of is you have not got the engram learned anymore.

I play ohnly local and ohnly for me!
play on all map´s to level to level
And hope i come to the best Levels if i can :-)

But now stand there "E" only "pick up"
and nothing i used before ??

I am intrigued. Bring up more like this and I will make a habit of downloading mods this good.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\LocalProfiles
Delete the file in here its named PlayerLocalData.arkprofile
it will wipe the inventory but also (stored) characters for your solo game.
Though there is also seemingly now LocalPlayer.arkprofile files in the SavedArksLocal and in map specific folders eg. TheCenterSavedArksLocal
but, backup the whole saved folder to be safe.

yes it shows the same at the oblisk. is there a file in the game folder i can delete that erases all uploaded data?

Hmm strange I will have to look into that it should have reset.
Does it show the same at a obelisk as it uses the same file as the obelisk for saving the information of uploaded Items and Dino's

hi, great mod although i have a issue. i restarted a singleplayer game after reseting all saves but when i build the altar for the first time it shows 29/50 inventory slots used even though there are no items in the ark. how can i reset the items stored in the altar data?

The aberrant dire bear is not in the allowed download list for Transmitters on Aberration at the moment until that happens it is unable to be downloaded to Aberration.
You can how ever download the aberrant dire bear on other arks.

Currently the only fix for this is to allow all Foreign dinos to be download to Aberration.
To enable this, you would have to add
?CrossARKAllowForeignDinoDownloads=true
to the command line parameters.

So I was out hunting on the Abberation map and had my ravager with me. Fearing death I crafted an altar and uploaded the ravager into it. After dying I managed to get back to base and pulled it down again fine.

Another player joined the server and the tribe and pulled 3 level 300+ ravagers across with him. So the altar worked then as well.

Went out with a clanmate I tamed and uploaded a Direbear, but when trying to pull it down at my base I can't as it greyed out, I can upload fine still.

Everyone in this server is in the same clan, any ideas?

@LankyFecker Servers have no limit to gear and dino uploads. Sometimes If there is too many Items or dino's uploaded it can result in the game disconnecting from the server when you open the altar, beacon, loot crate or an obelisk.

** The fix for this is to go into SP and take out some stuff then got back into the server and it will be fine. You do not loose any Items or Dino's.

everytime accessing the altar in server is crashing me out, it has been a process of elimination. this is the culprit

How do you change the storage timers for the dinos ?

The mod is great, but please remove the sound or add a function to turn it off. Maybe there will be a chance that an admin will see how much of it is on the map and can remove it. Thanks a lot for your efforts

@Pajuczok. Hello. Thank you very much for a mod that makes server hopping and item uploading convenient and fun. I was just wondering if there is an easy way to add an admin feature that would allow one to see all of the Altars on the server and an option to destroy all Altars? That would be a handy feature but the mod is really great as is and thank you again.

Just like with a regular Obelisk or TEK Transmitter , you can upload items, characters and creatures and download them on other ARKs. It can not be used to do bosses.

can you do the boss summons with this?

Thanks and appreciated. Just to double check I grabbed a random mod that had similar properties, gives new engrams and items to build, updated recently, etc. and that mod didn't crash Ark.

those crashes look like there could be corrupt files...
I am just guessing though since you had it running before but had the problem of not being able to learn the engram.
I don't know much about servers but will keep looking into it and see if I can find a fix for you.

Kernel crashes mainly, the mod loads in the bottom left during load, then when the game gets to whatever point it crashes with a fatal error. Loading the Center gets a maximum number of UObjects exceeded. The island gets generic stack trace and just like the center ends with a kernel32.dll!UnknownFunction crash. I get nearly identical errors on the other maps too.

I also had a co-admin subscribe to the mod and upload to our server as well, same error there. These are also fairly fresh servers too, only spun up 3 weeks or so ago.

Nothing has changed with it since last update 2 weeks ago

Validated Ark, fresh-reinstall of mod (deleted local files and resubscribe). Tried single player on Island and AB. Both have fatal crashes during load with with only Altar mod enabled. Applied fresh mod install to Island map on Dedi server, it crashes too with same error.

Sometimes if the client/server versions of a mod go out of sync, it can make engrams that aren't learn-able. Try a fresh re-install of the mod on both the client and server sometimes it can fix this sort of thing.

No other mods, this is the only one.

what other mods are you running with it? I have not updated in 2 weeks so nothing has changed with my mod. I will see if the last ark patch has changed anything.

We're running it on our cluster of Arks (Abb/SE/Island) and for whatever reason we can't seem to learn the engram. On version 276.42. It's the same with a similar mod for Supreme Ark Terminal. I saw in their comments where the mod author copied the tek rifle and you had to know that in order to learn it. Can't learn either on the server. It loads, and is there, just can't learn it. Using admincheat giveengrams still does not learn this engram. No idea what's going on.

I found a fix for my problem I went into SP and took out some stuff then went back into the server and it was fine so I definitely uploaded to much stuff so idk how the altar bypassed the limit but thought you should know incase someone else has thus issue and fyi it might just be a mod incompatibility as the server has 19 including this one.

I'm actually running it on my server and it has no limit for dinos ir items just says 80/-- dinos and 127/-- items mayve it its glitched if there is supposed to be a limit?

i have to empty it in a local map, i don't lost all my things and dino i'm happy ^^ ! the only way to empty is by local obelisk ;)
