Also it seems this mod now works with Item Pedestal Overhaul so that's great too!
Thanks for the quick reply! I'm one of the few folks who actually like the filter, but I'll turn it off while trying your mod out. Haven't tried ReShade yet, but I might just have a look in this case.
And thanks for clearing up the blacklist matter, for a sec there I was worried it might prevent items from spawing at all.
No. This mod has practically zero performance impact. I find that having a ton of items on screen can cause slow-down, but that is so rare.
I would suggest playing this mod with Filter off. It makes a lot of sprites very ugly, and ruins some of the smaller details I put on items. I would suggest using ReShade instead.
The item blacklist is items that do not work properly with the mod, so they will appear as their regular sprites. I make this clear so that people know that it is intentional for some items to not appear as vectors.
-Will this mod impact the game performance?
-Does it matter if I play with the filter on or off?
-What does the item blacklist you mention in the description mean?
Best fix I have found is to verify the integrity of the game files. That seems to force it to update.
For instance, I use the Consistent Blue Baby Sprites mod, which sits above your mod in the mod list, and all of the items that mod changes are invisible when used with your mod. But I also use the Familiar and Enemy Resprite Pack, which sits below your mod in the mod list, and all of the items that mod changes are still visible and use the sprites from your mod instead. I think that simply changing your mod's position in the mod list could be a huge help, though I'm no modder so I can't be sure I guess.
For those who want, i've made a reshade preset intended to restore the old flash style for the entire game in a much simplier way (and still effective)
I use it combined with this mod for a better coherence across the entire game. It don't affect too much these revectorized sprite... Just so slightly. I prefer that than nothing.
Search for "Reflash Reshade" and fallow the instructions.
Thanks a lot for all the contributor of this resprite mod
I Always preferred ths old flash art style.
If only you could re-Vectorize the ENTIRE game...
Thanks a lot for this!
