Just committed a small update that adds the same camera tweaks file with the old file extension, thus making sure that the mod is compatible with both 1.38 and earlier versions without the need for actual version checking (which seems excessive to me for 1 config file).

This also covers my butt in case the extension change was unintended and a future patch goes back to the old one ;P

1.38 update now live, may need to restart steam for it to download the update.

Good news, found what's wrong with it. The extension of the file name used to tweak the camera changed by one letter which embarrassingly took me like 30 minutes to actually figured out. Will be updating mod within the hour.

@silencer, Thank you for response, as you say ETS2 still works fine in 1.37 & only stopped working in ATS when I updated to 1.38, I do not have Idaho yet so think you are right, there are quit big changes to the graphic in 1.38. Many thanks again for your time & sharing with us.

The fact that the ETS2 equivalent of this mod still seems to be working fine makes me think that this is a 1.38 bug, but again, we'll see. I'll keep you guys updated and for what it's worth I am still around and want to keep this working ;)

Sorry, I have a backlog of games a mile long and forgot about Idaho and ATS completely.

I probably won't be able to get the DLC for a while, but I'll update my ATS this weekend and take a look at what's broken and see if I can fix it. Dobut it's the DLC anyway, it's probably something that changed how the variable controling the camera is used in 1.38.

The "mod" literally changes 3 variables in a cfg file so unless the variables have become obsolete, there is no reason this should break. But stranger things have happened.

For what it's worth, last time this happened, it was something that the devs broke and got fixed in a patch later. Again, I won't know until I take a look but I promise I'll try to get to it this weekend.

I checked this in both ATS and ETS 1.32, since this is essentially a simple ini tweak, it is already compatible. In ATS it seems like the max range when driving without a trailer/cargo attached is a bit closer than it used to be, but since the variable I'm tweaking in this mode is global, it seems to be related to changes to the camera in 1.32.

Regardless, it still zooms the hell back in both ATS and ETS2 and you can use it with 1.32 with no worries.

Will you be updating thid for 1.32?

Just checked on my end and it all works fine for me. There were no version chnages or anything since the latest tweak, so nothing should have change. Try moving it up in your mod priority list in the Mod Manager? Could be something is overriding my tweak.
