amazing work guys, really amazing.
Sileflas 12 Mar, 2021 @ 12:00pm
I've Noticed that unlike the other coins, the darker silver piece is marked as an asset bundle and has some kind of "effect" attached. Could you remove that? Otherwise I LOVE these!
Too'rah  [author] 10 Jul, 2020 @ 7:02am
@Havoc there are 2 types of coins, there are the "hero" coins which look better but don't stack, and the stackable kind, which don't look as nice but they stack. It's a limitation of TTS how coins/chips are handled in regards to textures
Capton_Havok 9 Jul, 2020 @ 10:28pm
I cant seem to get them to stack is there something i need to do to achieve this?
Flik the Changeling 5 May, 2020 @ 11:31am
thats my most fav mod out of Tabletop
^^ never remove it
[KE]Ferrocin 29 Apr, 2020 @ 11:45pm
If I had the models and textures, it may be possible to import them into blender and bake the shading effects into the texture to make the stackable chips look a little bit more like the high quality non-stackables. You wouldn't get true dynamic reflection, but you'd get a more metallic and slightly less flat appearance.

Real life has a way of setting other priorities, be it family, dinner, or Doom. Be well!
Too'rah  [author] 3 Apr, 2020 @ 8:16am
I would like to make more things, but Time and incentive are lacking most
Sage 3 Apr, 2020 @ 7:54am
@The Lone Fox - You bet! Still the best coins in TTS, your work keeps going! Thanks so much.
Too'rah  [author] 3 Apr, 2020 @ 7:49am
@Sage Thanks for the reminder. I will see if there is anything I can do about the coins :D
Sage 2 Apr, 2020 @ 11:11am
TTS Updated today to add values and flags to objects to make them behave more like chips! Thought I'd share.
EvanR 10 Jan, 2020 @ 1:51pm
These coins look pretty cool. I wish you could use coins as chips and ... coins for flipping, oh well. My only gripe is the silver coin has the same on both sides.
Sage 23 Dec, 2019 @ 5:19pm
@Too'rah - Thanks so much. I appreciate your looking into it. TTS can be really strange in the way things are implemented!
Too'rah  [author] 22 Dec, 2019 @ 4:24pm
After talking with some people, I have concluded that the only way this is currently possible is with a great deal of coding in the game, or hoping the devs will react to my suggestion. There is no other way as of now, to make them look as shiny and nice, while having stackable chips.
Too'rah  [author] 22 Dec, 2019 @ 4:00pm
I have submitted a suggestion for this feature on the forums of the game, and I am trying their Discord server to see if anyone else knows the solution to this (if there is one)
Too'rah  [author] 22 Dec, 2019 @ 3:37pm
Unfortunately it is not possible to create CHIPS with custom shaders. Since the only thing I can use for Chips are a model and textures, I have no control over the shader (since it is not using assetbundles). Assetbundles however do not allow me to select chips as the type, therefore no stacking is possible.
The only option for this to work would be the devs to allow either combination, Assetbundles as Chips, or Chips to use assetbundles...
Too'rah  [author] 22 Dec, 2019 @ 3:11pm
@Sage, I checked out your link. As far as I understand, I can merely set the values that are also adjustable in TTS itself. It doesn't actually allow me to use a custom shader. I will look deeped into this
Too'rah  [author] 22 Dec, 2019 @ 3:04pm
Thank you for the link. I will look into it.
Glad you (and your players) enjoy the coins
I'm looking what I could do next. Does anyone have any wishes?

I believe this talks about it? It is all a bit over my head TBH. I do know that they added it at some point as I *think* I've seen other custom models with custom shaders. Thank you a ton for looking into this! Your coins are the best, most immersive... my players love them!
Too'rah  [author] 16 Dec, 2019 @ 3:10pm
If anyone knows how to use custom shaders on my Chips, please let me know
Too'rah  [author] 16 Dec, 2019 @ 3:09pm
@DungeonPastor @Sage I have had a look with the newest version of TTS, but still there is no option for custom shaders on chips.
Too'rah  [author] 16 Dec, 2019 @ 3:04pm
@Lepton, glad you're enjoying it :)
Lepton 13 Dec, 2019 @ 11:22pm
I can't wait to literally shower players with coins and make them pick them up for being greedy hobos. You're an angel.
Too'rah  [author] 26 Nov, 2019 @ 12:25pm
Thank you. I'm glad you're enjoying them.
DragonCrystal 25 Nov, 2019 @ 5:29am
Love the coins, I use them in my Three Dragon Ante - Legendary Edition that was just made. Of course giving the credit of the coins to you!
Sage 25 Aug, 2019 @ 2:43pm
We appreciate you! Thanks so much!
Too'rah  [author] 25 Aug, 2019 @ 1:30am
I'll have a look when I have some time. Thanks for the input.
Sage 20 Aug, 2019 @ 1:49pm
Bump to the below comment. I believe that shaders are now enabled for custom chips.
DungeonPastor 20 Jul, 2019 @ 8:19pm
Hey! Love the coins and how you've managed to capture that fantastic style from the source books. Also super excited about the stackable chip style!

I'm with you on missing the custom shader but I think it'd be worth it. I was comparing with ThatRobHuman's Currency-New and Improved coins and noticed that the color of their coins is entierly based on Tint and Specular color, and that their Diffuse Map instead just had the design for the coin on it.

I've tried checking the obj for their coins off github but am sadly still clueless in some areas, as I can only see these obj's in a text form listing vertices and their coordinates, and am unsure how to download the actual file.

Still, this might be a way to get a similar effect to your old shader and still keep the chip form!
Too'rah  [author] 9 Jul, 2019 @ 3:19pm
We took great care to replicate the originals (without copyright infringement, all textures are self-made, as well as the models)
Pyromstr 7 Jul, 2019 @ 3:43pm
Amazing! Thank you! So glad there are some "official" looking coins out there.
Too'rah  [author] 26 May, 2019 @ 5:27pm
Thank you.
I may perhaps ask for donations and/or ideas/requests to keep me motivated.

Feel free to present any here.
Virtual Vessel 26 May, 2019 @ 5:12pm
Thanks for the update - marvelous job! I look forward to seeing more of your work here in the future.

I am working on Full-3D custom made environments for official D&D Campaigns. So far I have completed the first area in the "Out of the Abyss Campaign", although I am only using it privately.
If anyone is interested and I may make it available soon.
Message me for previews.
Too'rah  [author] 26 May, 2019 @ 4:10pm
Hello Everyone.
It's been a while and I am soooooo sorry.
I was trying to find the original files and.... Finally did!
There are now stackable coins (at the cost of my custom shader, because "Chips", ie. the stackable ones, cannot be used with custom AssetBundles, so no custom shaders.)

For convenience, both custom-shader-non-stackable and stackable-but-uglier coins are available.

Please let me know if it works for you, it's been a while and I don't remember if I did all correctly.
Arnj Joe 13 May, 2019 @ 12:21am
please please make these stackable!
OutrageousPantheon 29 Nov, 2018 @ 3:06pm
These models are fantasic. Is there any way you could rerelease these as custom models instead of assetbundles so they can stack? A little loss of quality would be fine given how above and beyond these are compared to anything remotely similar.
Too'rah  [author] 12 Nov, 2018 @ 2:28am
@M0N0SAIX that is strange... I haven't touched or done anything to the coins in a while...
M0N0SAIX 12 Nov, 2018 @ 12:39am
The platinum coin seems to have lost it texture
Too'rah  [author] 10 Nov, 2018 @ 4:09am
@Zxurian I remember trying to make them coins, but there was some kind of limitation, it was to do with the material/textures I think, which I would either have coins but not the proper material, or the material without the coin feature.... this my main goal was looks over utility, I chose not to use coins. If now I can do both, I will gladly update it, to make them stackable coins.

I think this video shows the difference where people are talking about stacking. You can see the coins from gloomhaving stacking, so they'll give a total number of coins in the stack, and you can pick up and move the stack as one, vs your RPG coins, which are all treated as separate objects, and don't "stack" together the way the other coins do.
Too'rah  [author] 6 Sep, 2018 @ 12:40pm
@aeonfluxion Yes, Silver only has one design.
aeonfluxion 1 Sep, 2018 @ 8:47am
Nice coins! But, the silver coin seems to only have one side? Looks identical when I flip one.
Yrm1e 11 Mar, 2018 @ 1:50pm
COOOOOOLLL
LK 19 Jan, 2018 @ 5:41pm
You could also add them back to an infinite bag and draw them the same way.
LK 19 Jan, 2018 @ 5:40pm
@Io I took the coins and changed them from a coin to a generic token using the "customize" tab. I would think that would help a bit and make them stop flipping so much.

General advice, since these don't stack, I clicked the option for them to be added to the hand and gave each coin a separate chest they sit in. I just draw them from the chest like cards in the number I need by using the number keys.
Too'rah  [author] 16 Jan, 2018 @ 11:56am
I just had a look at the coins and I can stack and move them fine. I'm not sure whether I am testing the correct thing.
Too'rah  [author] 16 Jan, 2018 @ 1:21am
None that I can think of, other than the collision mesh being sub-ideal. I can have a look at some point. I wonder if them being tagged as coin makes any difference...
Dust 15 Jan, 2018 @ 4:23pm
They seem extremely jittery. I can't seem to pick up a loose pile of them like I can with regular nonstackable tokens without them just flipping all over the place. Any particular reason?
