Also, if that's the case, I cant fix it. Acero's original files are often bigger than the actual sprite in game, and the images must fit inside the limited space. It's possible that Acero had to resize them, losing the original quality.
how did I never notice that
ok, thanks for a reply :)
Ah yes, understood. Yeah a hidden room crash just sounded too specific for a skin and yes, some mods, depending on how updated for CoM, could cause crashes when the player doesnt have the DLC. My guess would be the item looted from the hidden room, if it was supposed to be a DLC only item or a modded trinket based on CoM.
I was going to ask if you remember the items looted, but yeah, it could be some inventory item or trinket related mod that caused the crash. Feel free to report things to me again if this persists, altho I'll only be able to properly investigate it when I have my laptop good again.
Yeap, it was only in the Room. Speaking with other mod autors I've figured some other issues which caused crashes in other cases. So maybe it's really a concatenation of circumstances, and it's another mod crashes the game. With other mods the reason was that they were promoted to work with CoM DLC and I don't own it. Maybe there are another mods promoted I haven't found yet, huh. Becuase it's stupid even for me - for skins crash the game. But there was a similar problem yet with another skins that crashed the game in cases different from a Hidden Room, so I decided to ask you.
Yeah skins shouldnt interfere with such and post DLC there was nothing surrounding Hellion's animation changes. As far as I know only graverobber skins may have animation issues but even then it'd only look distorted, not rly cause a crash... hmm.
Was it only in the hidden room? You managed to loot other things in the dungeon with the character in said skin? And/or you managed to interact with other curios that needed an item?
1) No, I don't use any of Dark Souls inspired class mods, only Skins for vanilla characters. I don't know when loot is generated (when I enter the room, when I open a chest, when I enter a dungeon etc.). Maybe it's just a concatenation of circumstances and it is another mod which causes crash (I'm not a moder but I can't get how skin mod can affect something linked to drop...) but when I turned off this skin mod there was no crash anymore, and when I turned it in back, it was crash again in a Hidden Room when I was trying to open a chest with the help of Skeleton Key.
2) Yes, it definetly was OK before Red Hook released DLC.
Well... The error message has no much specific, it's say:
"The work of the program of the "darkest.exe" is ended.
The resulting problem led to the termination of the program. Close the program.
->Close the program"

1) Are you sure it's this skin mod and not any of the Dragonslayer class mods?
2) Was it ok before CoM update? Or did you start using it now?
Also if you ever have time and will I would like to suggest to change the "resting" sprite so the Plauge Knight would drink from his... whatever the hell is that thing he drink from it. That would be so nice :D
Check description for the warning, I'll be putting the same one on my uploads for any newcomers.
Thanks for the support! Acero is very glad you all enjoy his skins.
Thank you very much!
