You may want to update the IRL factual info with 'All 175 turbines have now been connected to the Grid, but Phase II was blocked by the RSPB on the grounds that it would damage the habitats of red-throated divers'-no, I hadn't heard of them either. Really like the mod btw especially with my love of the Archipelago map.

Also, considering your earlier comment, would a photo like http://www.panoramio.com/photo/61292401 be of any use?

Super Thing !!! :-D best wonder in game (my opinion of course)
Envoy  [author] 7 Feb, 2013 @ 8:19pm
@Rorschach Also, download all the mods you can, look at the files, understand what the authors did that gave the effects, and then borrow and alter. Experimentation is the best way to get started once you understand the fundamentals of ModBuddy.

@Rorscach If you're only doing something that requires data changes in XML/SQL (like this mod), the two hardest parts are coming up with the idea/concept that is interesting, and then finding the art and bending it to Civ's requirements. Given a solid idea I can crank one of these out in 1-3 hours depending on how many times I change my mind. If you start going for advanced effects, and need to actually code in Lua, then it will take longer. To get started all you need is passion and a web browser pointed at http://www.civfanatics.com/ . There are so many fabulous guides and people there that it is almost criminal to not bring you great idea to life.

how hard is it to create a wonder in sdk? ive been looking for a tutorial specifically for wonders but have only found them for regular buildings. i have been wanting to create some wonders myself so any tips would be appreciated. I love all your other mods you have made
Envoy  [author] 5 Feb, 2013 @ 6:06am
@bjoern I couldn't find any good photos of the Array on the web. If you find ones you think better, I am happy to look at suggestions! I hate the art aspect of making mods and wish I had someone to do it for me.

just for information: the farm looks like Middlegrunden in Denmark / Copenhagen. The WTG are different in LA - over there are 3.6er from Siemens. The hubs of 3.6er are more like a cubicle. But choosing Middlegrunden as a pic is cool as it is the most loved formation in the world

have been over there :-D 2 weeks ago, tough out there ... thx for this nice wonder!!!

Revision 6:
- Mod hit with the nerf bat, reduced to +1 Production per Sea Tile.
DoMonte 4 Feb, 2013 @ 3:17pm
Bacana!
lukasjens 4 Feb, 2013 @ 8:09am
Awesome:)
Envoy  [author] 4 Feb, 2013 @ 5:47am
@ssn You know, you are right -- I used the wrong XML tag. Would you rather see a change to +1 Sea Tiles, or +2 Sea Resources?
Envoy  [author] 3 Feb, 2013 @ 9:19pm
Remember that most of my screen shots are taken from Marathon games, so cost is usually tripled.
ssnitrousoxide 3 Feb, 2013 @ 6:54pm
Never mind I forgot to see the cost. It takes 20-30 turns to build. If you can finish it you don't lack production anyway.
ssnitrousoxide 3 Feb, 2013 @ 6:38pm
Way too overpowered. The normal +1 production buildings are for sea resources only, not tiles. With this wonder you can easily build a coastal city with 200+ production.
Envoy  [author] 3 Feb, 2013 @ 12:52pm
Considering there are Buildings that everybody can build that give +1 Production, I feel +2 is justified for a Wonder. As with all my mods, feel free to tweak it to suit your gaming style!
dstrelek 3 Feb, 2013 @ 11:43am
Nice idea for a wonder, although I agree +2 may be a bit too potent. Still, nice job. :-)
Moondog548 3 Feb, 2013 @ 7:15am
Great idea, tho +2 to each tile seems overpowered. +1 to each sea tile would still be a reallly big boost, I'm thinking.
Envoy  [author] 3 Feb, 2013 @ 6:42am
Yes, all my mods are for G&K.
Porcelain Doll 3 Feb, 2013 @ 5:31am
Do I need Gods and Kings to play this?

Revision 5:
- Small fix in help text
Envoy  [author] 2 Feb, 2013 @ 1:40pm
@Brewster, sorry no. I have no 3d modeling talent whatsoever. Anybody who does is free to make this happen and I will gladly add it and credit the person who does so.
Ramblin' Bob 2 Feb, 2013 @ 12:43pm
does it appear on the map?
