works exactly once, because once one mech has been built, the next prints forget their group assignments
Mech Factory. The limbs are assembled in seperate areas then transported via pistons with landing gear/merger blocks. In a central chamber they're connected, and the mech is dropped onto a connector which fuels it, and then is deposited onto a conveyor belt which takes it to a storage bay with a hangar door.

Your right about it looking like an attack Helicopter stapled to some mech legs
or if you do paint it, i suggest digital camo.
