Open the file and scroll down to the bottom; somewhere there should be an error mentioning the mod which caused the problem.

I developed this mod primary for my needs, so I cannot assure full compability with other mods, nor will I check each mod for compability. Lucky for you, Jayne Marie, there are tons of copy/paste fridge perish whatever mods in the workshop.

I'm sorry for being harsh before but I cannot tell you how fed up I am with mods conflicting with eachother. Going through mods one by one, launching server and watching it crash over and over for 90 minutes is not what I'd call, an enjoyable experience. I really added this mod just to be a fridge/insulation for food decay management. But failed to really consider how this comes with other options. So, thats my fault really.

I crashed anytime I used this mod, it conflicts with other essential mods for me. I had to remove/add/remove with trial/error mods off my server, launched it and watched it crash atleast 10 times before I found that this mod was the reason. I can't say exactly what specifically how many mods it conflicts but it definitely crashes with Increase Storage mods; Thermal Stone Durability mods; as well as likely Realistic Placement. Maybe even more~

I actually don't like all these extra UNNECESSARY add-ons for this mod. This is should be food decay and food insulation, icebox and icepack refresh, only. This mod causes server crashes left and right and center! Terrible! The Icebox size setting conflicts with all Increase Storage mods. Crash. The Thermal Stone setting conflicts with Durability Mods. Crash. Deploy Spacing setting conflicts with Realistic Placement mod (which functions better.) Crash. This is really stupid to add all this. All you've done is make this mod completely incompatible with several very important mods while not being as good as them with limited settings.

@Dev1: I tried this mod on a new safe with nothing else besides Too Many Items to cheat and I wasnt able to recreate the bug. However I found another bug with TMI: If you enabled creative mode and pre-craft some buildings which you didnt unlock yet, then you wont be able to place them. Other than that, everything worked fine for me.

when this mod is enabled, the ability to place any buildings disappears. I even checked it in a save where there was only this mod

@Phoebe: Thank you! As of right now, there are no plans to add more slot options. This is something I want to do in a seperate project, probably. (Also 5x5 is outside of vanilla options, which will need its own UI picture and some additional code)

I recommend to set the slots to the default options, and use other slot mods from the workshop

This Mod is wonderful, I use all the ones you created! A suggestion, maybe silly... but would it be possible to put a 5x5 option in the refrigerator, salt box and chest slots, it would be so useful!!! Think about it carefully, please!

Update 1.53:
Added tons of new settings, modified and integrated features from other mods which provide QOL and useful features to the game. This mod started out as simple "Icebox Perish Settings" and evolved since then into a small collection of QOL settings in one place. More features and improvements will be added over time!

+Added storeable Blue Gems to the Saltbox
+Added more Slots options to the Trawler
+Added Lantern Settings with lots of nice features such as self-activating!
+Adjustable light radius for Glowcaps and Mushlights
I used the code from Adjust Mushroom Light Radius as a reference and fixed some bugs with Enlightment Shards

+Added a new section: Farming, which comes with lots of different QOL settings.
Code for fast planting and crops spoilage was taken from Happy Farm
Code for Beehive settings was modified from Bee Nice
Code for Retainable Soil was saved from a mod I cannot find anymore. I added another filter which should prevent Wormwood leaving soil behind everywhere which is not on Farmland Turf.

+Added a new section: Other, which covers all other settings such as fire spread.
Code for build spacing was modified from Deploy Anywhere . I fixed a small bug which made placing certain structures impossible and the original mod was updated since then.
Code for the Thermal Stone was taken from here

I'm a beginner when it comes to mods, I don't know how to program anything, so I use artificial intelligence to do the work for me, that's how I translated and reviewed the translation of your mod, but I did exactly as you said, I copied the files and just translated the modinfo.lua

@BeoBonnie: In general, I recommend you copy my mod and its files, and then you can start editing/translating. Do not rename the files unless you know what you are doing(!)

@Flipped: I will add some slot options in the next update as a temporary solution. I planned to rework the whole slot system and make a proper mod for that, but that might take too long for everyone to wait lol

PS: I was working on a larger update, but I haven't uploaded it yet, because I was lazy/busy lol. I will aim to finish it + upload next week!

You can use it in with insight if you wish, it's compatible.

On an other topic, many of your mods are... not up to date with the actual version of the game and could lead to issue, performance, etc
like the "Display attack range" mod, for info it's not accurate at all today, insight give you a far better and accurate info for the attack range.

Your minimap HuD, global position, and extra equip slot are in the same situation.

Nice modlist there! My guess would be the Item Info mod. Try loading a test world without it, but use my mods and adjust the spoilage to"perish" for faster testing. I would recommend the Too Many Items mod too

@Vargas 2.0 I added all my mods to a collection which i will link for easier viewing. Figured it would be quicker to do this instead of listing every single one of them.

The only other ones i could see conflicting would be possibly N A B I 's other one involving backpacks maybe? but i doubt it. I don't have any other mods that change food as far as i can tell. The crock pot ones don't change the values of the food at all, they're mainly just convenience, and the durability ones I have shouldn't affect food either.

Midna: Check if you have other mods which could cause a conflict. I used "Insight" mod to test my mods and look into the values.

Varrgas: Currently no plans for messing around with slots. Thats something I might do later since I had a few ideas, but no time/skill to implement it. You should be safe since the format remained the same through the years.

It doesn't seem to work for me. I have it set to where fridge's never spoil food but i can visibly see my ingredients and food spoil and go down a tier from time to time. What's strange is that I have another mod that shows how long food will turn into rot and the timer doesn't change at all from that mod. So by all means it should be working, but nothing should be conflicting either. I have no idea why it's not working

Exccuse me to come back again with a request, but could you add the "16" slot option for the icebox ?
To explain why I'm requesting this, is because I'm using a mod to change the number of slot for some storage, like chest, and it can do it for icebox too etc.

If I'm not wrong, I remember that keeping the default value in your mod settings make it not mess with others mods.
But I always fear an update of the game, or of the other mods etc who could lead to log in the game and see all the food jumping out of the icebox to the floor :/

I must say that I would feel more safe if that was your mod who manage the amount of slot, than an other mod.

Can you consider this please ?
For some reason I prefer this grid than 3x5 to manage and sort the food & ingredient ^^

I enabled Winters Feast to play in advance and now I see what you mean. The Festive Lights have timed durability instead of pereshing. I can edit it and bundle it with the next update, but first I will wait and see what new stuff Klei will include with Winters Feast in a few days!

I can take a look into that later and bundle it with an update. I havent looked into the code yet, but usually the container predicts the spoilage rate for items inside it

any way to get a config setting for christmas tree light spoilage but NOT have it shared by mushlights? Or does the game use so much of the same code it's too annoying to try and distinguish the two for mod functionality?

The Steam order doesnt matter; DST loads mods based on the priority and if 2 mods have the same priority, then Im pretty sure it goes by alphabetical order for those mods

What about the Steam tab with all the mods we have, doesn'it have impact on the load order ? because we can sort them and put one on top of an other and change mod place in the list, no?

Or maybe it's just for this tab in steam and it didn't have any impact at game startup ?

Changing the priority, or in other words, the mod load order is the only current fix, since we dont have a "mod loader" in DST. Both mods need a few of the same lines of code so it will overwrite each other; nothing I can do about it

the -9000 in modinfo.lua is an old fix until he do something, it's not relevant today and could even lead to more issue latter.
If you use both mods, like I do, just let the default (vanilla) numbers in the settings of this mods, and change them in the settings of Incease Storage, as simple as this.

Thanks! I have added the storage options for the same reason as you have mentioned, to have everything in one mod, rather than loading many mods or mods I dont have much control of. I plan to add more stuff into this mod later, so its all in one place
