@Sixdd

Looks like a ruined science nexus. Issue resulted from a mismatched brace. Should be resolved now.

Sweet, I disabled the Utopian Dream and Utopia Expanded for now but I'll test again once my current playthrough is over.

@Sixdd

Fixed. Forgot to account for the name change (and associated mod load order) from The Utopian Dream here.

Bug report time, I built a science nexus to completion and went to another system to build another and if I click the Megastructures button from a construction ship it lets me select but not place it. But if I select the construction ship and right-click where I want the nexus and select Build Megastructure then it says "cannot have more than one Science Nexus".

Awesome! Thank you, I'll let you know if I find any bugs.

@Sixdd

It is now. And by that, I mean that it does not catstrophically crash the game on start or show any issues with the megastructures scren.

@sargatanus

Though you've been keeping me on my toes, this isn't updated quite yet. Will be soon, though. Not *too* many incompatibilities with the old versions, though.
sargatanus 6. juni 2018 kl. 11:00
Utopia Expanded 2.0 is out

@Liquidjaaaaaaaah

No Megastructure Limits for The Utopian Dream is updated to 2.0.
henk 2. mar. 2018 kl. 8:07
Tried it with the old patch, no can do... crashes the game(which I am not surprised by haha)
I hope it wont take too much work for you =)

henk 1. mar. 2018 kl. 22:14
Well. Utopian Dream just got out ;-)

@asdasdasd

Unfortunately, that may be the case. I'm keeping an eye on them, and once they update, the associated NML compatibility patches will be published within a week.

It's gonna take a while sadly enough, I think Utopian Dream will updated, and then Utopia expanded. But hey, it's your free time putting in for us, I have nothing to complain and only gratitude :D

@Commissar [RTW]

As this is a compatibility patch, the upstream mods, Utopia Expanded and The Utopian Dream, would need to be updated to 2.0 before this could be feasibly updated to 2.0.
Commissar [GSF] 1. mar. 2018 kl. 8:54
2.0?

@Liquidfire

That behaviour usually occurs due to a mod conflict, i.e. another mod in the load order is also modifying the base megastructure files. Potential mod conflicts will only be found in mods that start with A-N or a special character (like '{' ).

As for custom megastructure mods, removing their limits would be less of a patch and more of a rewrite of those mods. To do that, I would need explicit permission from each mod's owner to modify, reproduce, or distribute it. Even if I did have permission, I would prefer that such a rewrite be verified and uploaded by that mod's original author, to ensure that credit is given where credit is due and ensure they are maintained with the latest changes from the upstream mod.

I am not sure what went wrong but I for some reason can't have multiple projects anymore simultaously(I swear I could build Dyson Sphere's and other's at the same time).

If not, could you add Giga Structural Engineering, K Habitats Extraveganza and possible the Megastructures from Stellaris Economic overhaul?

If you dont have time for that, can I do it myself somehow(edit/mod)?

@RESPECT THE SHOVEL! Alrighty then, thanks for claryifing, i was a bit confused, i'll mess around and see if i want to do a ring world, or keep the planets i have. Thank you =D
RESPECT THE SHOVEL!  [ophavsmand] 1. jan. 2018 kl. 22:24
@Darth Minflexzel

This works the same way as vanilla Stellaris; all planets in a system are consumed upon creation of a ringworld, as they used as raw material to create the ringworld. The change here is that consuming life-supporting planets is no longer a travesty (no matter if they actually have intelligent life on them or not).

You could always build a ringworld and move your capital to it.
Jigsaw717 1. jan. 2018 kl. 9:51
@RESPECT THE SHOVEL! I mean, I'm at endgame, resources arent an issue anymore nor are borders. I just really wanted to have a ring world around my capital star for flair on how far my empire has come - but its kind of broken that my planets just disappear from existance
RESPECT THE SHOVEL!  [ophavsmand] 1. jan. 2018 kl. 9:33
@Darth Minflexzel

The lives of your subjects are in your hands. If you wish to give the order that the flesh, bones, and metal of billions of sophonts be sacrificed to contruct your great creation, so be it.

In all seriousness, it is one of the intentional effects of No Megastructure Limits. If you're worried about borders, I suggest a frontier station. If you're worried about the lives of your subjects, well, breaking down their planets for spare parts while they are still living there probably won't win any awards there.
Jigsaw717 31. dec. 2017 kl. 17:08
Tried building a ring world around a star that had colonized planets, when the frame was done, all the planets got deleted. Is there a way around this?
Jigsaw717 31. dec. 2017 kl. 16:25
that seems to have fixed it, thanks. I would recommend adding that to the description seeing how someone else might have the same issue :steamhappy:
RESPECT THE SHOVEL!  [ophavsmand] 31. dec. 2017 kl. 15:32
@Darth Minflexzel

Are you referring to this compatibility patch? If so, you should be able to safely disable that compatibility patch and use this one instead.
Jigsaw717 31. dec. 2017 kl. 3:58
This doesnt seem to work at all, with this installed im still limited to 1 per system. I have Utopian dream, expanded, the compatbility patch for those two, and this
eldiabs 27. dec. 2017 kl. 17:38
Awesome. Thank you!!
