If anyone is wondering what is causing huge lag and FPS drop specially in repentance when this mod is enabled, It's this mod. I unsubbed from all my mods then the issue still didn't get fixed until I disabled this one. I hoped this helped anyone trying to fix the FPS drop bug:resmile:

@Ederys Im sorry... and Im sorry to everyone in general. As said, I have completely forgotten how to code Isaac, so I cannot do a whole lot. I have updated the title to show that this is deprecated though.

I confirm this mod slow the game. When I unsubscribed from it, even with almost 200 mods, my game works like a charm. I don't know what the problem is, but it make this mod sadly unplayable.

Kil has consistently updating the API so hopefully it's a lot better than it was before. I would take a look at that instead.

Frankly @S1REN you and me both, this is just kinda how this had to be coded before, its a shame that StatsAPI is laggy because I can't stand how adding stats is always flat, unlike how it works in game. Unless I really missed something and they've changed things? I'm not sure, either way its been years since I've coded for Isaac so I am not really in the position to.

It basically causes an immense amount of lag and makes the game more prone to crashing. Hope this gets ported.

This adds insane lag for me in Repentance. Looking at it with a tool I can see it's constantly doing something with Stat Api.

@jnadley You can TRY it in repentance, I am getting mixed messages on whether it works or not in repentance; what I will say is that I havent UPDATED it explicitly, as I am super duper rusty.

i have disabled all other mods and the game crashes, only when in deacitved this mod the game don't crash :/

Hm, if you are positive it is this mod, and not maybe another mod conflicting, Im not sure why this would be the case. Considering that items are not added in any weird or usual way.

I found a bug where the game crash when you enter that room for knife piece 2 in the mines II and have enabled this mod. It is the part where all passiv and active items get inactive.

i've noticed one or two sprite bugs (namely with the Basidospore) but otherwise this mod works great in REP
though i'd still suggest updating it to add item quality stuff

I don't know if there was a game update that made things go odd, but for some reason the game is now running in VERY slow motion when I have this mod turned on. It goes back to normal when I disable it. Any idea what the issue could be?

found an issue in the statAPI part of the mod, it just checks for 4 players every frame instead of using the actual player count, so it gets a lot of nil players, not sure if the statAPI mod has the same issue

basically just would recommend updating 'for i = 0,3 do' to 'for i = 0, Game():GetNumPlayers() do'

I'm having an issue where every time a shot with the glowing mushroom's effect hits one of the sister vis it crashes the game...might happen with other enemies but they are the only ones I've had it happen with every time

@Null_Error First versions of this mod, yes. But I am happy to say that StatsAPI2.0 is now applied into this mod, meaning stats DO apply like they should now! You got Sora to thank, and please tell them or me of any bugs that might be found :)

I came across an old post regarding this mod stating that it did not implement its damage ups the vanilla way and as such the items only ever gave flat damage ups. Is that still the case, or has that been changed (or was this entirely innacurate from the start)?

=) It's quite alright, Lilith is somewhat of a challenge/tricky character xD

I've also been getting the fun guy transformation everytime I load back up a game in progress, I think I have too many mods, everyone now gets a mushroom head xD.

I am actually not sure how to get the tears working with Incubus, I assumed that Incubus tears were the same as player tears, so I am not too sure what to do about that I am afraid :(

Plus, it has been quite a long time since I have seen the code for this.

Hi, I would like to mention that Basidospore does not transfer to Incubus, meaning the DLC character Lilith doesn't get anything from it =(

I'm not sure if it's intentional or impossible to make it apply, but I at least wanted to inform you.

but you know, /your/ poison mushroom only increases damage by 1 and multiplies it by 2. and increases speed. Is that really too similar to my idea? You can forget the multiplier, as I said you could give it just 2 damage. ...I feel like never replying on this again because I look really stupid

I have no understanding of how to mod... So I can't really do this.
But I got an idea for a demon mushroom for devil rooms.
It's dark red with light red eyes and horns, it's stalk would be black. It would take 2 hearts to get it.
If you know how to multiply, I would say a 1 damage up and a 1.5 multiplier. If you can't, I would give it a 2 damage up. It would also give 2 tears up and a shot speed down, and speed down.
For the costume I would say make your skin black with the sparkly effect the blue mush gives, but it would be red colored. I would love it if you could try my idea. It's... It's fine if you don't though. I wish I could mod to make this...

Well, we're trying to keep it doable at the moment, but we have a lot of plans for the future. Currently we are developing a floor with about 20 enemies and some items. After a few months we may start work on something larger though. Most of the sprites are done and a few enemies have been coded already, but we're looking for more coders to help speed the process along.
