@Fimmt because on high shader settings, the engine uses more advanced shading stuff like normal maps (the thing that makes the lines on the wood actually look 3d), cube maps (in simple terms, makes shiny things shiny, such as metal and glass) and subsurface scattering (I dont really know if Source actually have that so this might not be included). But on medium settings the engine uses none of these. Thats why you are getting a huge fps drops on high settings.

Hey. Do you know why do I have 40/50 fps difference with shaders on high and on medium?

@T5 Elliot Wilde
But bruh, a M1A1 is just a M1 carbine with a simple pistol grip and with a buttstock made of a few irons http://kitsunesden.xyz/Firearms/Auto-Rifles/M-1_Carbine.jpg

Doing this should be just like circumcise your M1 Carbine Classic.

@Batoria I am sorry, don't make any models because it is too long process and i'm not complitely know how to do it right. Much prefere making reskins, that's what I really like. But also can make a reskins for custom models too, why not. Will keep it in mind man. Have a good holidays !

Can you do a M1A2 with folding stock please?
FREMONT 27 Dec, 2017 @ 8:54pm
They can be that grainy depending on the finish on the wood. Various companies manufactured them during WW2 and beyond.

it's nice and all but why the wood is so grainy ?

i dont think they leave the wood completely raw in real life to be that grainy.
