Just make sure turn on your day time running head lights. Yes I know often AI don't have lights on during the day. it is annoying, Now will SCS ever fix this, prob not.
Cops always fining for not having them on but it's still light out -_-
It doesn't follow the real time while you play the game concurrently if that's what you're asking (e.g. Animal Crossing) but the sunset will be delayed an hour as you go westwards because you're in a different timezone.
The first part of the description:
"This mod changes the day/night cycle to real world times. This affects the time the sun will rise or set.
It works by changing the defined day from midsummer to the Wednesday of the current week. So in winter you will have long nights and short days, and in summer the reverse."
As long as the mod places roads and cities where they are supposed to be on the map sun times will be automatically correctly applied for where you're driving."
If you do not enable time zones, hours are one hour behind from what is shown there, so today's day light is from 06:55 am to 3:55pm, as the game defaults to Pacific Daylight Time.
i have not activated the time zones or the winter zones mod, does it affect anything?
in the meantime I will keep it deactivated
