Please, please, PLEASE make plain clothed versions without metrocop armor, I'd love to see it! Perhaps black civilian uniforms with red arm bands and the red fist symbol on the back.

Not necessarily when it comes to Metropolice. One could point to how Barney Calhoun disguises himself as a CP officer. Another could point to when Metropolice units went against Combine orders and attacked that train station at the end of Episode 1 just to evacuate City 17.
